Your room is so stinking cute! I’ve been using a rolling backpack/carry on thing for student teaching and I thought I would love it.... but it actually makes it harder to walk into the building because you have coffee in one hand and the other one is completely preoccupied with pulling the bag!! So opening doors is just awful 😂 I’ve been taking my backpack instead and I love being hands free, I just wish it looked cuter like yours!

I used a rolling backpack throughout student teaching and I'm still using it now during my first year teaching my own class. Some days it is nearly empty but it is great for days when it is full. Save your back!

Maybe this is a little personal or maybe not but I’ve always wondered financially do you have a job part time with student teaching?.... or do you just do student teaching full time and live with your parents, I always see student teachers on KZbin sharing their journey but I never hear about if they work, So my question is how do you financially manage while student teaching,, that’s one worry I have for my future and how to manage it all.

Hi! Don’t know if you found your answer or not yet... but I had a coworker who started her student teaching before me at a different college. She said she was so busy during the week she had no time for a job (she lived at home with her parents) but still needed to pay for her own things like her car & personal items. She ended up only working a job on weekends or days she was not at the school she was placed at. Luckily, where we worked was flexible and she could call in to work or call out if needed. Hopefully, that gives you a little information on that.
