That's a crap ton of tools to be carrying around in one tool bag. The older I get, the less that I want to carry a heavy tool bag into/out of each job. I setup an every job pack, and then separate electrical and plumbing bags that I only grab when needed.

To each their own :) yes, that was a lot in that bag! I have a Veto XXL for my command bag, and a veto Tech MC back back for daily and it actually is EXCELLENT for my needs. For my RC (TOYS) Helicopters full scale a Veto XXL= PERFECT:)

This video demonstrates why I don't like deep, large toolbags. The CLC I bought 6 years ago I never really used and am giving away. Tools get lost in the deep pockets, and then you end up carrying dead weight. Now I got it down to small toolbags & pouches for hand tools, and some mid-sized (structural foam) toolboxes for smaller tools and delicate instruments.

Yup, too deep to see the tools. The Klein backpack I moved to since this bag is so much better - it folds all the way open so you can see all your tools. And I lightened up the tools I carry.

Greetings! I'm an HVAC service guy from San Diego. I found Veto Pro about 10 yrs ago and didn't go with it till about 3 yrs ago. My first bag was a Tech XL. I am up to5 bags right now. The XL is for if I think I need the whole bag. The MCT is my service bag. The MC is my maintenance bag. I carry electrical connectors in my MB2 bag. And I have the TP4 if I need to roam a roof going from unit to unit performing redundant work where I will need minimal tools. I may actually get a backpack for another job that I do. I do think their bags are the best. Thanks for the great video. It's good to see what other craftsmen have in their bags.

I work in residential at the moment. I see that a nail puller and a center punch or awl is missing. I really like the magnet 🧲 strap for the meter. I gota get one.

i tried the veto xl for a couple weeks and ended up selling it on craigslist. After using the Duluth bags 'the big house' for so many years i wanted to try another. i didn't like how narrow the base of the veto was, it seemed too skinny and didn't swallow much for stuff that waned to rest at the bottom of the bag. also thought the bag empty was a bit overkill.. lots of weight to an empty bag. I work in the service side of the marine industry as a mechanic and eletrician. i have two of the same bags for both mech jobs and electrical jobs. having used these bags for so many years, worn out replaced them, I've gotten so familiar with where things are. i share the love you have for your bag. its your money maker. nice bag, try the deluth version sometime :)

How are the Channellock linesman?
@MurphysSidekic6 жыл бұрын
They are decent. I think there are some better choices now for linesman.
@electriciantv51743 жыл бұрын
I used to use them. Honestly just buy a pair of Klein ones. You know buy once, cry once.
