as always USE WHAT YOU ALREADY HAVE! This list is to show you what I still use after many years and encourage you to value what you already own! I also forgot to add in a REUSABLE MASK...obviously and a spare canvas bag! My essentials will always look different to yours and it's such a privilege to have the choice, so I try to use that privilege wisely and give back at every opportunity I can! Yup… reusable face mask and hand sani… I am not lovin’ these items… but for now I’m still packing them in my bag for those times when I’m in crowded public places (which are rather infrequent). A few thought: - looove the idea of carrying a book with you! I think I have to take the advantage of having borrowed a kindle and take it with me more often :D Having said that, I just prefer reading in a calm environment so probably would not use it as much as I wish I could. - I remember not using lip balm a few years ago and honestly, ever since I bought a zero-waste one (in a reusable, metal tin) and stared making my own, I use it at leas twice a day and it made a massive difference! - stuffed wine leaves are SO SO good! Just a perfect summer food which take you into a holiday mood, doesn't it? Anyways, thanks for sharing your ideas with us! Lots and lots of love for you and your boyfriend!

That fun pasta shape is called “Gemelli”, which means “twins” in Italian. The “twins” are the two strands of pasta twisted together. Fun, eh? Gemelli pasta is one of my faves too 😃Ⓜ️

You can also just go ceaseless these days. The ceramic shields on androids and iPhones are really durable. Maybe just by some insurance (Apple+, Amazon, etc) and ditch the cases.

I don’t know if anyone will ever read this but I have a question. How can I stop wanting to buy new stuff? Like I just saw a video of a person having a really nice wardrobe and made great outfits and now I want to do it too. Of course it is impulse right now that makes me want to have it, but still something I’d like to have. When people talk about zero waste they say we should buy things only when we need them. Does that mean I can’t ever buy a new shirt cause it looks nice and I want it?

I love my kleen Kanteen insulated coffee cup!!! Once yours breaks I would highly recommend it, it closes all the way and it keeps your drinks hot/cold for literally 24 hours it’s wonderful!!

sunglasses prevent cataracts later in life, so i think it is okay to buy non-sustainable sunglasses. I work in a shop that's started stocking 'recycled eco-nylon' sunglasses. That come, not in the two plastic bags the others do, but in three plastic bags and a plasticated box. With a twine label-string to show how eco they are. Don't trust what you see, the wholesale packaging is a million times worse

The sun glasses look really nice! I feel like reusable coffee cups are so hit and miss. I got one from my Uni when they stopped using plastic cups on campus but it’s pretty ugly so I don’t love using it. And then I got a sustainable one as a gift but the lid always comes of 🤷‍♀️
