That's an excellent question, Heather! Unfortunately we don't have the exact name of the butterfly ranunculus. Florabundance chose the flowers for this Live and we relied on them to select color palettes and flowers to honor Teacher Carolyn. How long in advance do you get your flower before make the arrangment

That's a great question, Pat! We usually get our flowers three or four days before we use them for an arrangement. The reason for that is we want to give them time to rest and hydrate fully before we design with them. The timing depends on what we are doing and also the availability of deliveries as well. Sometimes we run to the wholesale market in Portland and pick something up last minute as well. Thank you for taking the time to watch our Live show this week. That's an interesting question, Steven! We love Florabundance flowers and have had great success with them. The quality of their flowers is excellent. Shipping to Oregon is different from shipping to New York so it just depends on whether the price is right for you. We also get flowers from the Portland Flower Market, which is the local wholesale market in our area. As part of the market, there is a local growers association with farmer/florists in our area.
