Definitely one recommendation is to always copy your shows from the external SSD to the local drive, just to remove any chances of a mid-show usb dropout. It's rare, but everyone will remember it happening.

One recommendation I got from ILDA that isn't here is a GoPro to record the show with, for many reasons, from safety to promo. I also thought I was the only one putting graph paper in my bag ^.^
