@@johnstrange6799 @John Strange I actually liked the ends, not showing them was more a matter of space and camera placement. That little square foot is the only flat empty space in the shop right now. And I kind of had to film straight down. The camera stand was actually outside the shed. But if they make you embarrassed or uncomfortable I will be sure to feature them in the rebuild video. I thought it was a nice solid box that had some character. I mean monkey could not have made it, a chimp maybe but not a monkey.

I’m not sure where you met John stranger I’m guessing you met him on KZbin and then I can’t say it enough. the huge support that I receive from other KZbinrs in the machinist world you’re just another great example of how that works. Thanks for the giving of your time.

There is a lot of support and encouragement out there on KZbin. The machining community is certainly one of the best. John has a KZbin channel but deleted a bunch of his videos and is now on sabbatical trying to find the meaning of life the universe and everything. Great guy and still pops up from time to time. He was one of my first subscribers and I was one of his. All the best! Eddie

The Starrett level will be sensitive enough to detect an eyelash under the leveling feet so I will have to get it right. Thanks Josh! How is yours coming?

@@theeddies well you know the frustrations and limitations of the HQ so lol. I'm trying to get the motor updated to a variable speed, and then want to get an Electronic lead screw. It's either that or I'm going to try and buy a used Smithy from the US! Both options are expensive and frustrating!

@@Justamanonamission77 I do, I am kind of looking forward to the machine being mill only. Not having to worry about the change opens up some new projects and I can tune the milling a bit to make it more rigid and useful
