I live in a rehabilitation centre as I suffer with advanced secondary progressive multiple sclerosis and lupus. I shared the video of Kara’s diagnosis. My daughter’s friend was recently diagnosed with epilepsy. His mom let me know how much she appreciated me sharing the video. He had a seizure 4-5 yrs ago in HS & had the 2nd one in March. She said Kara’s story was very similar to her son’s. Thank you for sharing such a personal story.

Years ago, late 1970s to mid 80s, I dated Michael Gilmartin, co-owner of Interpreta Woodworking. Much of his work was in laminating sheets of woods together and forming furniture; his Gilmartin Chair is in the Brooklyn Museum, but I digress. He had a client in California, a spinal surgeon, who purchased the set of "spinal" furniture he had designed.....I wonder if this is the guy because Michael said he requested he use mahogany. Hadn't thought of that in a while, Michael passed away over 20 years ago now...... Thanks for all you do, your spirits, laughter and sharing the tears as well......keep up the good work!!

I love my marshmallows burnt. Hold it over the fire to melt the inside a bit then set it on fire lol. My friends and family thinks it's sooo weird. Also, I love you guys. I have been watching for over 5 years now and I am living my dream of traveling the world through the two of you. I am a single mom in nursing school so unfortunately cannot travel like I have wanted to. It is amazing to watch you two grow as a couple and put challenges on yourself. Succeeding every single time. Not many can do the things you guys do. It truly is an amazing thing that you both push yourselves past your limit and see it helping you grow. 1997 was a iconic vintage of Napa Valley. It was the peak of the Napa Valley Cabernet craze and the vintage that got many into collecting wine. I can’t believe a bottle of 97 BV Cabernet was included in the stay. More wine content please! As a sommelier I always wonder what wine is in your videos. Nate, just a heads up in case you didn’t know it … when blowing up floats or beach balls or anything with that type of valve, you have to bite the valve while you blow air in. It opens the flap inside the valve and lets more air in faster. 😊

Also Joshua Tree was so amazing. I spent a few nights in a cabin without power or water in the 90’s but it was filled with books. It was a climber’s cabin so they have somewhere to meet and share their stories. I was so intrigued by the high dessert, a beautiful unexpected place. Biggest sky I’d ever experienced

I grew up & live a mear hour away from where you are Air B&Bing. ... I hope you visit Joshua Tree. Just drive through for the experience. Many famous people live up there, my son is a stone mason. He just finished a pool decking for a member of a very famous rock band. I love the deserts of Southern California. I loved watching you ride the 3 people bikes across USA last year. I knew the whole road from Oceanside to Arizona. You road through two of our favorite winter camping spots, Ocotillo Wells & Glamis sand dunes.
