The reason why those hooks are very corrosion resistant is because Yo-zuri uses BKK hooks Which are well known for being very corrosion resistant

Watching this makes me think about the action of the new lure. With no channel at all those BB's can go to the front or the back of the lure possibly making it tip forward or backward just a bit. The old lure seemed to have it balanced more in the center. That is what it looked like to me after watching your autopsy. Nice job "Quincy"

I guess that central plate on the new makes sure there is metal on metal clacking as the bb rolls over where the old relied on more of the sudden jerk making the extras clack into each other.

refract is the deviation of light rays when passing from one material trough another caused by a difference in densities, in other words, refraction is whats lens do, while, what you may probably meant is reflection, wich is light bouncing off the surface of a material, as in mirrors =)

Could the new lure also be weaker than the old? No internal walls like the old to reinforce. A bit of bite pressure and crack like an eggshell

I don't think it'd be an issue. That could happen. but all or most mainstream plastic plugs can suffer that no?

(Not related to this video)when ever I take a reel apart and do a deep cleaning, re greasing, and oiling my reel comes out way smoother than before but the reel gets loud. Any suggestions?

Is it a raspy sound? Thats usually because a lighter oil was used on bearings and some surfaces. No biggie

Just to clarify- I clicked on the feebay link below description on this video and ordered some fleece wader liners after going to myfeebay, as I had them on my "watch list". Hey Thanks man! That's a great help!! Amazon and ebay are a bit different. I can see the exact items ordered on amazon but not ebay ((never do i know who orders what though)) Ebay only shows $$ amounts purcahsed. I think watch list items and affiliate links work. No problem man. Glad to help! I noticed on amazon there have been a ton of JDM BG's for sale...and most associate jdm with better variants......In this case and the case of the spheros it's the opposite. Awesome! That reel is a tank for sure! It's been a long time since a reel at that price point was such a tank!

Since the new one only has one ball bearing does this mean it's quieter than the old one? Unacceptable! Loud lures rule! Some of the new Spooks have that mylar insert. It prevents added ball bearings from moving as freely and as noisily.

To each their own. I'm not a fan of tons of rattles. I like different types of attractants...(but thats just me) 1 bb makes a ton of noise underwater. Wouldn't say quieter...just not as chaotic :)
