I worked at CBC's CBET-TV (The former being CKLW Radio/TV) in the late 70's, early 80's. One job I did was Film Screening commercials where I catalogued them by watching the ones they'd air through a small viewer, then typed out their scripts to keep on file. That was long before computers were invented for TV stations. I wonder who left these treasures behind, why, how they came to be nearly dumped and if my Commercials' Film Screening scripts and videos are in those items that you now possess. A few examples of the commercials I catalogued & scripted: Joy Dish soap, Time Magazine, DoubleMint Gum, Bubbalicious Bubblegum (their 2nd commercial where the boy gets airlifted into space with his huge bubble of Bubbalicious gum 😂.) Very interesting all the same. 🤩📺📻🇨🇦❣
