I'd even go further to say that in terms of mobile gaming it has the best combat. Older units get reworked as well to stay relevant later on, older bosses get reworked as well. In fact you'll encounter a lot of perfect parry/no-hit runs on youtube because of how cinematic you can make the gameplay.

The story is insanely good but the first 8 chapter is meh, the world building is one of the best I've read, You'll always find yourself asking questions and getting the answer later on and it goes full circle. And it's pretty fucking dark... Idk even know how some scenes got accepted XD

@@blaxzy6184 All I can say is that from chapter 12 onwards is 10/10 (main story only) , side stories are basically fillers and setups for the next main chapter so they're really good as well but main chapters are where the good shit are. Chapter 13 will be kinda confusing because of the exploration stuff but there is a normal mode for the story.

First and foremost, welcome to PGR, and yes i am not gonna sugarcoat it, early game suck ass for PGR. But using your argument with genshin they might have a hook early on and giving you a lot of resource for gacha early game, but the opposite is true for PGR, its not as popular for this reason for newpeople (+ they disny advertise much), but i can assure you its goes from this to what you see in the video shown somewherw after chp 8 and after u reach end game (where good stuff kick in). Heres my opinion and i MEAN IT , There are NO , again NOT ONE , Gacha game /mobile Arpg that had battle mechanic as INSANE and fluid as PGR , Not honkai, Not Aether Gazer, Not Genshin, u can agree they might have more attractive feeling to it... but i am sorry , In term of combat mechanic no single game in mobile market even came close to it.... And also the OST ia never a let down

the characters will look "mid" now but you will grown to love most of them eventually if you keep playing. PGR character design is a tier above genshin's.

If u look for a hock , skip the story and vet right into the gameplay But PGR had very small team when they first developed the game, so the beginning wasn't that good, unlike mihoyo which was already a multi million company developing genshin Now new chapters have a cinematic videos and quality stuff to get hocked.

Have a look at each of thier coatings and weapons so it doesnt look “generic” the weapon and sythce look generic because thats the lowest tier weapon Play the character tutorials too not all thier skills are just pinging orbs theres tons of hidden skills etc like holding attack button /dodge attack / ult and other skills

Pgr story is definitely slow at the start but if you stick with it I really do believe it becomes one of the best video game plots I've ever experienced, I have played every chapter from beginning to current update and haven't skipped a line of dialogue. I really feel like I got to know the characters and I'm part of the story

This is the only gacha game I spent some little money (monthly pass) because it deserves, seriously gameplay, characters, music, story, I'm loveing everything about it.. Plus it works good on most low/mid end phones and kurogames gonna bring PGR on PC on future, hell you can play on PC using emulators, I tryed on both LD emulator end mumu, both works flawlessly.

pgr is the opposite of genshin. People play genshin because of the story and great exploration, we play pgr for the insane combat and slick characters. If you are a story, quest, dialogue skipper in other gacha games and you want high octane combat and endgame, pgr is the game for you. People say that pgr did not grow as large as other gachas because it is difficult, there are some truths to this. Good news is even if you are 100% f2p and just casually playing, all difficult content are optional. You don't even need to progress too far into the story to take your favorite characters for a spin. You can just play to collect and not care about any ranking. Skip the pgr story dialogues (you can review them later) and dive right into combat, try as many characters as you have in the tutorial. You can also acquire ALL characters free overtime, no matter if you try hard for ranks or do the bare minimum for weeklies. No bs 50/50s, no bait characters, and old characters are patched to be relevant with new content. All important resources are farmable. Pros: 1) Best F2P experience. Accumulating currencies and release of new characters are synced so when a new character is released, you are 100% getting it if you do all your currency missions. 2) The only true metric of character performance in this game is GITGUD, no matter how much you whale. Fully built, fully whaled-out meta characters can get deleted in end game challenges. Tier lists are not important 3) Won't require more than 1 hr for all important daily activities Cons: 1) Related to the GITGUD, ping issues and device/emulator performance will severely affect your PGR experience. In other words, if you have a barely responsive gaming setup, whaling on characters and weapons, and building meta teams won't fix that. 2) Optimal gameplay will require some practice and familiarity with character mechanics. You cannot button mash and just hope for the best. 3) All builds are straight-forward. Not a lot of creative, weird builds if you want high scores and ranks. Not much theory crafting damage potentials not like in genshin.

The early chapters were pretty ass in term of pretty much everything, so I can see why you're not enjoying the game as much. Starting from Chapter 9 it gets good, but people will probably drop it around Chapter 5 or Chapter 6. It's kinda like FGO syndrome really.

I feel like its not really fair to compare Genshin and PGR openings, first and foremost, Genshin is made by a multibillion company and Kuro Games is basically an indie studio compared to it (lol), and Genshin doesnt really adopt the "visual novel" style like most of the gachas out there (FGO, Epic Seven, etc...), thats because Genshin is its own thing with the 3d and everything, it gives way more options to do things like animated cutscenes or even simple things like walking on the middle of a dialogue, things that the VN style can't really compete with.

I started playing this game 2 days ago i find the starting experience pretty much bad exept the combat i do love it ❤ but u get to experience more when u hit like lvl 40 plus and getting the correct 6 star artifacts that changes ur gameplay so much for the better very generous game if u get some luck on first 40 pulls on standard i got luna and was actually my fav character since i love dark teams more new event also gives a another s rank selector thnk god i started before that ends so ill get that now im lvl 52 and it got me hooked finally will be playing this game for a long time glad i found it❤

Start of every game I h8 story campaigns and every starter character skill are chunky. But it gets a lot better after you get the new featured characters of the patch. Also. I'm that guy that played genshin wind traveler, fishcl, xiangling, and Barbara for a year. Till I saved enough gems to get a full team of 5 stars :U

Yeah the irony of PGR is probably that the first 8 chapters are lame as f*ck, probably because Kuro themselves didn't know they would lean so heavily into the story later on. The selling point was clearly the gameplay, not the story. But damn, the later chapters are just insane.

Seems like the opening wasn't really doing it for you, which is fair tbh. PGR doesn't have the most polished opening. They only ramped up the production quality with animated cutscenes from chapter 10. Chapter 1 - 8 are also quite slow. The game only starts getting into the main meat of the story from chapter 9. I'm usually not an advocate of skipping the story, but if you don't enjoy it then feel free to skip it. This game shines the most in its combat anyway.
