What's it like to ride fixed gear in deep snow?

Silver seatpost at least for sure. Color of the Skream reminded me of my favorite football cleats: nike mercurial vapor iv charcoal. I also had fun skidding in the snow, it's awesome!

Hot football shoes! ❤️ my all time favourite is the total 90 shoes from around 2004! I had the red and white indoor version with flat soles, and I wore them outside like regular shoes to school 😅 Nice to hear that you enjoy the snow :)

If you go with silver components... Thomson makes the nicest ones and I am sure you can find nice deals second hand.

Oh wow I didn’t know Singapore was that tropical! I see Singapore on TV once per year because of formula 1 but the race is at night so :) I don’t love to ride in snow but I think I would have even bigger trouble riding in tropical heat 😅

It's actually really fun! But inspect the pile first, some are hard and some are soft. Also, I was wearing a spine protector under the jacket, it really lets you go crazy with less risk :) Thanks for commenting!

I think black cranks and a silver chainring could really pop! I do like silver rims because they don't discolour when using breaks. However, I've really been into the black rims, silver spokes and hub look recently. Maybe something to consider too.

The first set of wheels that will go on the bike are the ones that I currently use on the Ribble. 60mm black rims with silver spokes and hub. But I think I want shallow rims eventually. Yeah, silver chainrings look really nice with a silver chain. I already own a silver Stronglight crank set so I will most likely stick with that for a while :)

@@addvurtbikes I'm currently running Crust Rims on my Allday, maybe something to consider. A bit pricey for sure (got them from LaChouette in Paris) but they really tick all the boxes for me. Rim brake, light, wide and tubeless compatible. As for the cranks, if you're running silver ones, maybe just go wild and pick a wholly different colour for the chainring? But maybe there's too much going on with the frame being kind of loud already..

I actually have colored chainring as an idea, I do want to some color details :) But I'm not going to rush into buying colored parts that replace something I already have, cuz it needs to be carefully thought through, or it will become too chaotic. I go over the idea more in depth in my unboxing video.
