I will never tire of reminding you gentlemen: you boys probably don't realize the impact your videos have on the people in your sphere! A lot of people, myself included, have pretty much been on edge because of the pandemic and this new war; we click on your video and suddenly we are with old friends, catching up. It's incredibly calming, I kid you not (also very enjoyable and entertaining, haha). Also, I live in Hong Kong where it's been a shitshow for 2 weeks now 😔 But yeah: watching you boys lightens the heart and lifts the spirit ❤ The only thing that was disappointing about this vlog was.... that you didn't kiss ! haha 🤣 You gotta make it happen soon, guys!

This video is very wholesome. I live in Queens, NY and living in this crazy yet beautiful city is very rewarding, I simply love it. I’m 23 and like Jason I might change my mind later on in life but I’m really enjoying living in this city just like you guys have enjoyed it all these years. You guys have come a long way and I am super happy for what’s to come for you two. Can’t wait for the podcast! You guys are awesome and cuuuute 🤍

Great discussion about living in NYC and I've gone through so many of the same things. When I had to move in with a roommate after coming from another city with a career change because financially it just made sense, it felt like I took a huge step back in my life living with another person where we were both in our 30s - my mindset was like who lives with a roommate in their 30s? lol. Turns out it's a lot of people so I felt less pressure after finding that out. I really lucked out on my roommate when I lived with them and we got along really well. It's like what you said, mostly mutual respect and not having to tell someone to do something. I now live with my wife but I look back at my time w/ my roommate as a time for me to grow as a person and be more conscious about sharing a living space with someone as an adult (college didn't count because I still didn't feel grown up). I love living here (recently celebrated 9 years). I'm not extroverted and don't need to be around people for long periods of time, but I do like being in crowds when the mood strikes. I love the anonymity of it. Interesting thoughts about feeling lonely. I've rarely felt lonely here. The strange thing is, so many people are open to conversation. Subways, parks, random streets, venues, events, etc. I've personally found it really easy to connect with people. Most of them won't become close friends, but just knowing that I can strike up a conversation in many situations makes me feel like the city is just a place full of possibilities.

I was caught off guard by the angelic singing, but even more caught off by your incredible ice skating moves 🔥🔥 I resonate with John in that I like being around people but don't always want to be socializing, and NYC is great in that regard. But I might leave if Jason moves out and I can't see his gold medal skating in Bryant Park anymore 😩 excited for the future vlogs of Jason's woodworking and John's CVS trips though! And also thank you oppas for lunch 🙏

Y’all have me cracking up! John’s McFlurry dance had me gone 😂😂 I agree with Jason on feeling lonely in a big city and the same can go for a small city. After awhile it gets hard to try to fit into the same lifestyle while coming into a new sense of self. I’ve been trying to leave my city for years, but I just got a great job (my dream job actually) so I feel like I’m stuck in a crossroad.

The suburbs in America are so inconvenient when it comes to shopping. I was surprised that you have to drive to a separate place for an ATM (separate from shopping centres). In Australia, I live in the suburbs and am also fortunate that the grocery stores, cafes and restaurants are like a 10 mins walk away. The ATMs and banks are close by and inside the shopping centre. That was my experience last I went to California, not sure about other parts of the US.

Well, I'm 33 and at the moment I live with my parents. Reason: save money. Living with others doesn't mean you're not independent, just mean you're forced to, or in some cases choose to, as some people just feel lonely living alone.

Me who lived in both Shanghai, suburbs, and out in the country side: I LOVE the subs. It's a good mix of things to do but also having space and quiet when I need it. City life was fun but only for a short time. I never felt super cozy living on the 40th floor of a building and still hearing cars blasting down the street under you all day haha. Everyone is so quick and busy so finding genuine connection was more difficult. As an Asian American, being in the country is nice and quiet but I lacking cultural diversity and just overall people to relate to was kind of tough. Plus side everyone is so incredibly nice and caring. Good ol' southern hospitality. Always pros and cons with everywhere you live but Suburbia is my favorite median :)

I’ve lived in Manhattan my entire life and to me it’s a very small place. Everyone I know knows someone who i either went to school with or met at some point. But now that all my HS and college friends live far away it can be pretty lonely but I prioritize my job and my schooling at the moment so it’s honestly my own fault. Also I was there studying for some vet tech finals and it’s honestly not too bad of a study spot the tourists don’t make too much noise which was awesome. There’s actually a Panera right around the corner so you could have had a decently cheap healthy meal next to the library. Also Bryant park is alright but tourists flock there which is why it’s so expensive there’s honestly better places to ice skate but I can’t divulge that info or else everywhere will be that expensive. For anyone thinking of moving here there is affordable housing but you might not get the place that you want so having roommates isn’t a weird concept. There’s also more opportunities here than in the suburbs or more rural areas but it’s also harder to get your foot in the door because again the city is pretty small everyone sort of knows everyone so there’s lots of nepotism at least in the animal world.

I think the pandemic has changed the lifestyle of many people, who used to like parties and gatherings and now maybe they are more comfortable working from home and more focused on achieving their dreams, and if our minds are full, I guess we don't have time to feel lonely, because busyness and many stuff have taken up our time and thoughts 😊🙂🙂

Maybe the word you guys were looking for to describe Bryant Park is 'picturesque'? A lot of young adults in large cities have roommates; if I were either of you I wouldn't worry too much about what other people think or have to say about that. Am I the only one who doesn't think $8 for boba is expensive? Or are the popular tea/boba places here in Orlando charging too much? 🤔

I personally never want to live be myself, no matter the age. I’m currently 23 and have three roommates who are all girls in grad school with me, and I’d be fine with LESS roommates, but I’m already introverted and so living alone honestly seems unhealthy. I go home and can have a fun time, and it keeps me on my toes. If I have nothing planned, one of them might be inviting someone over and help them prepare, or if a roommate ever needs to go somewhere and doesn’t want to go alone that’s an activity. I don’t even need to live with SUPER like-minded people in all facets of life, because it’s more exciting when you and a roommate bring different things to the table and teach you stuff
