Interesting concept for the layout Austin. I am a huge fan of the original design that was seen on the Whats Neat weekly show and have designed something for a future home of mine that incorporates your idea plus my own twist on it.

Ken, the Turboliner you were talking about was the French RTG Turboliner. What you have is a next generation American built Rohr RTL Turboliner which were run on the Empire Corridor. The RTG was done in HO in Amtrak colors by Jouef back in the 70s/80s. A few of the RTGs were modified by Amtrak to look like RTLs to augment the Rohr fleet.

Good show. Nice to see Jenny Kirk too. I like that foam for leveling. I will try that as I have a similar situation. The cars on that autorack are really impressive. I always learn something for my own layout when ai watch your podcast. Thanks.

Great show. Jenny is correct and not only are we getting new models but new scales in the Hobby. TT scale has been re-released here in the UK as it is a decent compromise scale between N scale and H0/00 scale, ideal for smaller properties like apartments. The scale is also accurate TT:120 scale which is used in European and USA markets. So if you buy a US or UK locomotive they will be completely accurate scale wise.

This was interesting. In Australia there is a tv show about football called the " Front Bar " it looks the same. I expect they copied from NFL or EFL . Anyway, who cares , Great channel, guys

are the 3d figures that James found online available for free?

Quite a few of them are. You have to comb places like thingiverse, cgitrader, cults3d, and others. There are a number of 3d people created (I don't know if scanned or drawn) for games or for architectural purposes, and they offer samples of their products. i.e. your architectural firm is drawing a new concert venue or office complex and wants to populate the 3D models with people to make it feel more realistic. I think I was able to find close to 100 3d people online as of about a year ago. Probably more I didn't find. Likely even more now. There are also programs such as "makehuman" (free and open source) that you can use to generate your own 3d models of people by toggling proportions and features. Using the native make-human poser or Blender, you can add armatures and pose them any way you like. That said, many of them require at least some processing before they are ready to print. They are also not the same as the high fidelity scanned prints that you can purchase from Miniprints.

Sadly, I have to unsubscribe and not watch with my kids anymore. I expected this channel would be better than the shows on TV, which seems to have a trans character represented at every turn. It's just not something I care to watch when trying to enjoy model train videos.
