Cedar Point is going to have a RECORD BREAKING 2024 season, and here is a look around the park on Opening day 2024. This also happened to be on May 4th, 2024, and was the grand opening of Top Thrill 2 - the re-imagined Top Thrill Dragster!
Cedar Point is one of the best amusement parks out there and if you have never been before, I highly recommend it!

Calm down, lol. 0-120 in 15 seconds is NOT a miracle. CP did the bare minimum to keep Dragster operational, saving them the expense of a new $30+ million coaster to replace it. TT2 **saved** them money.

TT2 goes a lot higher on the spike than anticipated it’s a great ride and surpassed my expectations.

I went Saturday and Sunday for my first ever visits to the park. Top Thrill 2 is a phenomenal experience. Operations weren't great around the park. I'd wait and get close to the station, and rides would shut down for mechanical issues. But it was opening day. Can't complain. I still loved every moment of being in the park. Just a beautiful and magical place. With the massive crowds, I did the quality over quantity approach and got on Millennium Force, Steel Vengeance, and Top Thrill 2. Everything else I got on was a cherry on top. Also Cedar Point Express Hotel was great. I had no issues, and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

Nice video. I didn’t get out there until Sunday afternoon so I missed you. The likely reason planet snoopy is closed is because it has a lot of duplicates from when Geauga lake shut down. Kiddie kingdom has the lowest height requirement that 1 and 2 year olds can ride most the rides. Camp snoopy has stuff requiring 36-42” which is better for 3 and 4 year olds. Planet snoopy has similar height requirements to camp snoopy but lacks the coasters. I do think the kiddie lands should get a consolidation at some point but they are going to have to keep or get new rides with no height requirements for the youngest kids.

Yeah, your idea of replacing the Kiddie Kingdom area with a new Boardwalk Wooden coaster makes perfect sense. Other than that, cool video! 😎👍👍

Yeah all things considered, it was definitely worth going for opening day for me. I was there from 8am and I left at 8:30pm and got about 16 experiences in, including 3x on TT2, 2x on Millie, and 2x on Wild Mouse. Even Corkscrew and Blue Streak were running very well! The shorter Prestige entrance to get in and even the less congested, Preferred Parking area definitely was welcomed!

Cedar Point is my home park and since I live only 50 minutes away I go often. Totally agree with everything you said. My only beef is charging for the lockers. There is no reason they shouldn’t be free like Steel Vengeance. Sure, it’s not a lot of money but for season pass holders who go often, it adds up.

I hear a lot of people say they should remove Kiddie Kingdom - that's almost the only area of the park with rides of less than 36" height requirement, so it's essential for anyone who is at the park with kids 3 and under. In order to use that space for something else, they'll need to first relocate the rides, or put in new ones with the same height requirement.

TT2 was amazing. The only downside was the down time. Broke down about 3 times when I was inline.

A mini hyper with the Mantis drop is something that should be done, somewhere. 145, 137--167, 157. The view at and around the six minute mark is one that should be appreciated. The diner, cars, and Mantis/Rougarou pre-drop is classic.

It may have something to do with the Kiddie Kingdom Carousel which is why foot traffic is still at Kiddie Kingdom, but as I said many times, find a way to keep the historic carousel and you'll find a way to update or close Kiddie Kingdom.

Great video as always bro.... TT2 is INCREDIBLE, Beyond words and I think it's going to surprise people on how highly it ends up being rated on a lot of our lists! 375 ft up the spike is AMAZING!!!! Well done Zamperla, also the 1st launch is faster then Mavericks launch and the rollback is from 220ft, A LOT higher the Pantheons roll back, yet those stats are "Amazing" when talking about those coasters...Nah, I'm done with the TT2 bypass, the 1st launch is awesome it's fun it's forceful and the rollback is the best in the business!!! The rest of the ride speaks for itself, but phrases like "Only" 375ft or The 1st launch is "Okay" or "Underwhelming" are out, no more this is the ride of the year without a doubt and hopefully will win plenty of Golden Ticket awards, Saludos 🥂 To Cedar Point, the Coaster Capital and greatest amusement park on Earth as well as to Zamperla for shutting the haters DOWN!! I have a feeling we are going to be seeing a lot more amazing Zamperla coasters in the near future! These lighting trains are phenomenal! The comfort, the Freedom, the air-time, Forget about it...I'm elated, And also extremely proud of Cedar Point and Zamperla. It's kind of sad that the journey from Dragster, to TT2 is over...But it's thrilling because it's only just begun!!! #KeepRidingCoasters

$3 for a required locker is a joke. It's things like that which make me really miss the old Geauga Lake, which helped keep prices down at CP. As for your comment on getting rid of the kiddie kingdom area to another coaster, I have to disagree. While I would love another TRULY new coaster there, CP has gotten rid of too many non-coaster rides over the years. Maybe the Kiddie Kingdom needs to be spruced up -- for sure -- but taking out rides for kids for another coaster is not good for those visiting the park with children who may not be big enough to ride a coaster.

I mean planet snoopy and camp snoopy essential have the same kind of rides. So opening one over the other does make sense. Kiddie also doesn’t have a height requirement compared to the rides at planet and camp so the very little ones still have a place they can ride

The locker system is perfectly fine! Its a couple bucks to keep our belongings safe. And Phones should not be allowed on any coaster! It is not worth the risk of someone getting hit in the face with a phone traveling over 100mph... Its a privilege to have these phones in the park, NOT a right! So Cedar Point doesn't owe it to anyone to accommodate our luxuries. We're just spoiled and we get entitled at times... we forget we waited in lines for years without phones💯 You can wear a smartwatch for communication if you need to. So no need for phones at all, and if wanna bring a phone, having full knowledge you cant bring them on the coasters, then I think you should have to pay to store it! I pay for my lockers and im fine with it, thats how it should be!
