It's a great feature. Find/Replace is also very helpful with bin organization.

HI Thank you for your video. I need your help. Can I change tape name to clip name equally? In bulk edit, there is no tape in modify column.

This is great but the limitation on which columns you can Bulk Edit can be a bit annoying. What if we need to bulk edit the TC24 Column, to add a specific timecode start for all clips? It limits the bulk edit to Name and custom columns only (and a couple of others I don't remember). @Hans, do you know a way to edit multiple clips' timecode start or even TC24 column?

hey hans.... is this a process that is best done before transcoding? i guess so....? so that relinking to RAW / Full Res files is simple...?

Hi, I'd personally only change file names for subclips. Link the files, transcode, sync/subclip, and then rename the new subclips.

Hans, thank you for this. Just one question. This is only going to change the names within Avid and not in the media files?

Hi Felipe, Correct, you are only modifying the metadata within Media Composer. Regarding clip names: I'd personally only change subclip filenames, unless you know for sure nothing has to be relinked again.
