Don't really know much about AOW4. All these HoMM-type games are a mystery to me. But this looked pretty cool.

It's very far from Total War, a lot more is given to the player about creation and narration. It's less complicated and challenging than a TW. I think it peaks with friends or known players in a kind of roleplay thing

Playing as a Flesh focused Eldricht horror ATM, having a lot of fun. Best DLC imho.

I love the new order/chaos tome. My First thought with this DLC was "cool, i want to smite those bastards as a righteous paladin" and they delivered

i LOVE watching your videos, they are SO much fun. especially the Warhammer total war 3 ones where you play only one Specific theme of units. doggos, bears, cows and crocs were my favorites. im a Dialyses patient, and im in treatment 12-18 hours every single day. these videos are helping me keep my sanity. truely THANK YOU for making these videos!. lots and lots of love!

I have been enjoying this DLC a lot. It really is the best one so far. Eldritch Sovereign is hands down the best new lord type.

Syrons are generally Good-aligned in the lore. Actual Dark Elves exist in AoW and they were mostly evil, but IIRC they had a redemption arc in Age of Wonders 2/Shadow Magic, when their leader Meandor managed to convince them to behave. I think they are more on the neutral side these days, just a bit edgier than your average Elf.

They Reunified in AOW3 so there are no more dark elves. The Reunification is why Julia married some other guy and not Merlin.
