What if David Troughton was the 6th Doctor? The Two Doctors would be the opening story, being a father/son team up. Timelash and the Twin Dilemma would never exist. There would be a U.N.I.I.T story with the Ice Warriors as the antagonists. David Troughton would be a three season Doctor just like his dad. There would be no Trial of a Timelord for season 23. The Nightmare Fair would start that season, it would end with Yellow Fever and How to Cure It. Season 24 would still have Time and the Rani, Paradise Towers, and Dragonfire, but no Delta and the Bannermen. There will be another Dalek story, a story with the Doctor meeting his evil double (a kind of The Enemy of the World sequel), a base under siege story, before David Troughton’s last story, which would have him confront the Great Intelligence and the Yeti, as it takes over U.N.I.T. He will regenerate into Eric Idle’s Doctor (who would have five seasons) at the end of that story.

Here’s an idea for a “What If?” “What if Jodie Whittaker’s Era had Christmas Specials Instead of New Year’s Specials?” That’s one thing that Jodie’s era lacked. Although we at least got a Christmas Special in comic book form. Would love to see ideas about what Thirteen and her companions could have done with Christmas, perhaps a mixture of whimsical and scary. Who knows what kinds of scenarios could have been created?
