props to west love for diggin this up......I was born in uptown in 79, alot of this is all too familiar man.... my pops left my mom w 4 kids in 87 and by the same time this was filmed, I was goin thru the same shit....became a peewee and by 92 93 I was out there bad, sellin rock and riding my bike on seguridad 🤟..... even tho I was a whiteboy northsider me and my boys would always hangout at the "motherland" of humboldt park...that narco w da bulls starter jacket was notorious back then from Shakespeare district.... because of my affiliation the east side of the park was always an entity to me, straight up "no go zone".... I had one homie I grew up with that was an insane campbell boy then he turned YLO C and was cool with the dude Gitano in this video..... they are both dead now sadly RIP Speedy RIP Gitano C🙏

When all the Latin folks were at war the Mozart park, hermosa park area, Logan square, was down and dirty in the early 90s. The devil side was wild, the northwest side Latino gangs cleaned up a lot since then. They’re more Belmont cragin now but the don’t bang outside no more, I don’t even know how they bang, o don’t see anybody hanging in their hoods no more.

They just pop pills get drunk and ride around in stolen cars or they moms car's and they bang or shoot at each other in traffic. But that's a good thing because alot of us would not be here right now if it was still like the 90s.
