I've met Eugene at the park twice now. You can catch him literally just walking around with a trash picker-upper. He is extremely approachable and will talk with you as long as you want, and will answer any questions. He's a very nice man, and I hope to see him many more times. We were also there on Tuesday. We heard from a staff member that less than 1200 people visited across the whole day. It was a really nice first ever visit to Dollywood (definitely spoiled us!). We really liked the BBQ chicken sweet potato and the pork belly skillet. But we gave up and went back to our hotel around 6:30 because we were tired of the rain.

Hey Jon! I think you may not like the “forever country” show. I was kind of getting that vibe from you. I may be wrong. 😂 Any way! We tried the soup as well, at the end of the night. It was probably the bottom of the pot too. It had an off putting pinkish tinge to it and was not good. So we will try it again, earlier in the day. The pumpkin dry rubbed ribs were fabulous! We enjoyed those a lot. Missed the family! Thanks for another great video!

Thank you! Sometimes the food can be hit or miss, I always suggest trying it twice ( unless it’s the meatballs from the flower festival ) I’m just not a fan of that show. I wish they would update it, make it more modern… not 90s backwoods fake country.

We just got back from Dollywood and Gatlinburg (yet again lol)! We had so much fun! We stayed at the Buckhorn Inn and the Park Vista. It was so lovely! The park Vista had a water slide that my daughter LOVED. There were NO lines at Dollywood. We rode the Trolley down to the Peddler in Gatlinburg, which was nice but shockingly over-priced😅 the only issue was the traffic. It took us an hour to get anywhere and it took us four hours to leave from Gatlinburg, get gas, and get to the interstate Sunday morning.
