Cam fr just played stock Marwyn CEDH and called it Elves lol

I'm not sure how big his graveyard was, but he missed two Inalla eminence triggers from the oracle. His graveyard was probably larger than his devotion, but who knows.

It wouldn't matter because of endurance, because oracle and inalla would go on the stack at the same time with player choosing the order, endurance would go off before the first orcale resolved, so he would have digged deeper by two but ultimately wouldn't matter

@@Strawb_milk5 Pretty sure I counted 3 cards in graveyard before endurance. The Inalla trigger makes it much harder to find the line to not lose. You would have to let the trigger resolve then either abrupt decay the token and endurance (playing around a reanimation spell) or abrupt decay the original Oracle and then Endurance to again play around a reanimation spell they don't know about. The second line doesn't make a lot of sense though because you would be shuffling the Oracle back into the library with Oracle triggers on the stack so Bill would just draw Oracle next turn. Basically only not losing line is to abrupt decay the token and then endurance. I can't decide if it is better to put the oracle trigger or the inalla trigger first but that just makes it even more complicated.

12:00 you can destroy all your opponents permanents and make infinite 3/3's destroying one of your own creatures here with Beast Within, Ewit and Kogla loops ^^ Svar

And after getting Temur Sabertooth he can keep casting Kogla to fight all 3/3 beasts on his opponents boards, clearing everything :P

@@hip5702 the loop stops because Kogla becomes indestructible from the ability of returning ewit to hand :) Temur Sabretooth is required (unless cloudstone curio is used as well) Cam could have also resorted to casting Finale of Devastation, naming ewit (if he didn't have it in hand), returning finale with the trigger and then basically show a loop of finale-ing every creature out from his deck (remembering to cast it for >10 so they all have haste at the end)

@@twensg Why does that stop it? You can target Kogla with Beast Within anyway. It doesn't destroy Kogla, but it still creates the 3/3. EDIT: nevermind, it does stop you from recasting Kogla, my bad! I misread.

He only had Consultation to find it, so he’s have likely exiled necessary pieces. Thoracle was probably the play, but he should have used Inalla’s trigger with Thoracle

Elves is my pet deck. I run Harald in the command zone because with infinite mana you can grab every elf in your deck with a bounce loop. I use Curio and him being 3 mana is super relevant because of Aluren. Also Black tutors are OP. Always splash black 👍🏻

With the T-Oracle Fight: Wasn't there Inalla Triggers on the Oracle each time? He could have paid the 1 for the first oracle and kept the reanimate in hand for later. Yes his graveyard is shuffled in, but it seems better to keep a card in hand.

Missing the Inalla triggers on Thassa's Oracle was annoying. It nullifies the abrupt decay line and gives 5 devotion to win after reanimate and endurance.

Does Cam not run Ezuri Renegade Leader? He could have just searched him and buffed his then 4 elves to lethal levels with trample. Could have also untapped and buffed the birds to lethal levels for anyone without flyers

After making infinite mana with Umbral mantle you can just equip the mantle on every one of your creatures and make them +10000/+10000 and just run everybody down with that, only need to hit everyone with at least one and its gg (saving a couple of mins of triggers)

marwyn even in a casual pod is really strong. I had a random player join my pod once cos 1 of our members were away and he brought marwyn. my group decided to just take me out of the game cos i normally have more stronger and synergised decks and i was taking it whilst trying to respond to marwyn growing bigger. Eventually my friends just went to kill me instead of dealing with marwyn and ofc marwyn won. They then were having a sulk about what had happened and i was like omg idiots....

For the Thassa’s O fight, couldn’t he just cast Tainted in response to the Abrupt Decay? His library would then be empty and he’d win the game. Anyway, I love Inalla. The deck is difficult to pilot but it’s hands down the fastest deck in the format, even faster than RogSilas, and has unique lines of play.

Marwyn is comparable to Selvala, heart of the wilds. Both decks are fast and create tons of mana. I think Selvala has a tiny edge on Marwyn. This is due to the draw trigger when a creature with the largest power enters the battlefield, this can allow your opponents to draw cards as well, so it has a downside as well. Phyrexian dreadnaught in Selvala is just stupid as hell. I do like both decks, and have played them both a lot.
