Hey man, im about 3 quarters through the video and i like the collection of all of the weird movies the horror genre has to offer, but i feel like i would enjoy your personal take on *why* you like these movies so much. Summarizing every movie one by one feels like the vid drags on at some points, and i had to watch it in multiple sittings because of that. If all the segments were more like the Scream one, where you go more into horror history and why you like stu macher etc., i feel it would really benefit the video.

The reason so many spider flicks take place in Arizona is because there are many tarantulas native to the area (3 different species that we know of) so it makes sense to me. You’re Next takes place in and was filmed around Columbia, MO (been there many throughout my life) Child’s Play 3 was filmed just a half hour away from Columbia in Boonville, MO, but I don’t believe it takes place there. The abandoned military school it was filmed out is actually still there. It’s preserved by the city as a historical monument. The real exorcism that The Exorcist was based on happened in St. Louis. The hospital it happened at has long since been demolished, but even years before it closed, they boarded up the room where the exorcism had been performed. It’s just a parking lot now, but there’s a crack in the pavement that never goes away no matter how many times it’s been refilled and paved over.

You should do another long form video like this but for holidays. You can start with New Years Day and make your way to Christmas. It doesn’t necessarily have to be a horror movie set on a given holiday. Just a movie that kind of embodies that holiday and would be a good watch in recognition of that holiday. So, for instance, I was thinking New Year’s could be “I know what you did last Summer.” Being that it is about a new year and things that happened in the year before. It is just a thought and it would be really cool to see what movie list you come up with for this premise.

Fun Fact: While Wrong Turn isn’t a favorite movie of mine, two of it’s actors both acted in a film that IS one of my favorites. Julian Richings and Wayne Robson, the actors of Three-Finger and Maynard, both played minor characters in the 1997 Sci-Fi Horror film Cube which was an instant cult classic to me the day I watched it for the first time. Richings is especially a memorable actor for me who played in these two horror movies as well as Urban Legend in between and also he was apparently in the obscure family film Eloise at Christmastime I had on DVD when I was a kid?
