Even in a zombie apocalypse, it is better to be rich. Riverside is full of the wealthy housing areas, almost every house is a easy starting base, so many supplies, so near to a lot of essential items like the school and gigamart.

As a player with ~100 hours or so I like spawning in Rosewood, getting some essentials then going to the Fire Department as soon as possible, from there if I'm lucky I find a decent car, fill it up with loot and gas in the nearby gas station and run off to the nearby farms. But I rarely spawn in Muldraugh so this seems like a nice spot, I'll try it out. Great vid :)

This is the best place in all of Project Zomboid in my opinion. I always spawn at Muldraugh and barricade all the roads in this gated community so I can have all the houses and fill it all with my loots. In my current run I built lookout towers near the long fences and set up a barricade at the trail leading to the lake and just in time too as a couple of Zeds popped up in the forest after another helicopter event.

This spot in Muldraugh was nuts the first couple of times I played. Now I'm on to using random spawns, so I don't have much of a choice in terms of where I spawn and base up

Muldraugh, especially the south is really Chil. My favorite spawn is Westpoint Forever !! Man, thoses 2 stories appartments are so good

I feel like muldraugh is probably the best area for new people. High population on the highway and less and less towards the back. Good spots for loot too.

My favorite place to base up is Twiggys in West Point. It’s mostly due to the fact There’s a giga mart close to it, and not too far away there’s a storage facility and a gas station.

Isn't that the one thats also like, 15 feet from the gun shop or am I just misremembering (Haven't played much in West Point lately)

Imo, my fav spot to spawn in (as a reletively new/inexperienced PZ player) is a house in the South Eastern edges of Rosewood. It's right on the corner of two roads opposite the School, with a small fence and forest barrier separating it from the group of homes tucked away in the very Southeast corner of the town (The ones on the dirt road). If you follow the road along the southern edge of Rosewood it leads you to the Fire and Police stations with a reletively short walk for easy looting, having the school right there gives you a pretty good shot at finding a bag pretty quick too, along with a small library to pull some books from early on. Between all the residential places in the area you have a somewhat low pop easy to loot area that can last you a while, while offering a couple of nearby potential base locations while still remaining on the edge of town, giving you an often somewhat easier escape if a horde from in town finds its way to your front doors. Too boot Rosewood is a pretty small and well layed out town, easy to navigate while still remaining jam packed with interesting locations in and around the town area. It's likely not the safest, or most baseworthy, or even one of the best spawns, but it really does work nicely as a launching point for several different playstyles and is pretty newbie friendly earning it my top spot overall.

The gated communities in Rosewood and Riverside are equally good. Barricade the entrance with cars and wooden walls, save for maybe one path with double wooden door for your vehicles, and you are set. The one in Riverside is the largest one and requires a lot of work, but I can imagine it becoming a large settlement when NPC update finally drops.

South west part is easy to close off on both sides. You get 3 houses to yourself.

Rosewood will still be the best for me no matters where i spawn
@kryhun79062 жыл бұрын
This is simply not true. The best spawn for beginner would be fire officer and Rosewood start. Roll until you spawn in Fire Departament. Grab 1-2 Red Axes and any 1h/sledges you like. Also lots of medical supplies. Stone's throw is police station if you want some guns (also high chance for cigarettes in the office) and a bit further you have bookstore.

North Rosewood gated community still better. The high unbreakable fence there surrounding entire 2 stories building. Want safe perimeter? Just build 5 wall on the entrance and you're already safe from zombies. Also zombie will only attack from 1 direction. The place also near forest. Which can be used for trapping.

I got 200 hours in this game and this area or the farm north of it is my go to spot every time if i spawn rosewood or anywhere else i just wander around. I picked it without knowing where to go really early well it turns out there really isnt a better spot if Zed is saying so.

i'm currently playing in this location at the moment. The only issue is that I can't get the power generator guide
@andrehashimoto80562 жыл бұрын
Muldraugh is TERRIBLE with certain Loot types, Books and Generator guides are one of such. Muldraugh benefits is that Zed Population isn't high nor too low, and most zeds are located in the Highway side, meaning a large enough are of that city can be explored without worries, however most of the higher ranked Loot spots (PD, VHS store and most larger stores) are in the Higher zed count zone. Imo for new player good spawns, from best to worst: Riverside Muldraugh Rosewood West Point Riverside in general provide a far more lenient spawn, with several goodies including firearms, books and midgame tools, the problem being it at times acts as a Pseudo West Point, the Urban center usually getting a fairly large number of zeds roaming which restricts how easily you can get to the Loot buildings. Muldraugh offers what can be called the Vanilla starting point, most spawns are in the low zed areas and Loot options are fairly ok there, with anything past early mid stage loot being mostly in the high zed area of it, the Highway, it's a good place to gradually learn several ins and outs about PZ, a good pick if you want to learn about it from scratch. Rosewood, like Riverside, provides fairly generous Loot spots that give QUITE the quality gear (Firefighter stuff, good shit at any game stage) early, but has a death spot (the Penitentiary, TWO ARMORIES there, but not worth it since both areas they are located will require you to FIGHT LOADS of zeds, you may spend MORE AMMO there than you will get likely) that makes it risky to get into the PD as well (fairly close to the prison, so a SG will doom you if you ever need to gun down zeds too early in game), the early Loot gives you a good start, but it has nothing else in terms of good loot spawn zones aside the PD and firefighter stations. West Point is obviously not New player friendly, there's just as many spawn points in the center of it as there are out of it, zed count will always be highest than any other spawn city, Loot there has quality and presence of a Large PD armory, firefighters and even a School + Library makes for a fairly juicy pick for vets, but not newbies

@@andrehashimoto8056 while Riverside is the most comfortable starting area, I wouldn’t recommend it to newer players. The map is easy to get lost in and can encourage some bad habits. Muldauch is designed to teach you the games mechanics and good habits better, due to how the Zombies are spread out, which teaches newer players better how to do basic things like safely scout and estimate their current strength.

i'm not even close to new to playin pz but i'm not any sort of pro player so i've been mocked 4 playin badly like a noob. i've tried improving but still can't quite get to where others are so i'd rather relax and play my way. at least its less stressful that way. otherwise ya i get this start a lot, its p. good, i'd say. if u head west there is a giant black building on the map at the very northwest of muldraugh and its an industrial building wit 3 floors that plenty of ppl use because of wut a good setup it is. there is forest and a lake there, too, and a house nearby wit a farm u can loot 4 fresh veggies. no fence, but a huge and sturdy building on the edge of town with a flat sheltered roof for growing a garden or other things.

I think Riverside is more consistently good for new players... unless you spawn in the trailer park or for sale house lol.
@frankwest53882 жыл бұрын
I think Riverside is best for experienced but not great players. It has very clear point of interest for every major thing and a relative low population compared to Westpoint. The reason it isn’t as great as Muldrauch for new players, is because the map is a bit more complex and easier to get lost in

To much zombies in M. Rosewood is by far the best spawn cus is the lowest populated town and u have gated houses too and all the basics near
