Play it, now. Its really good and enjoyable (on expert or master mode ofc).​ also its not like a large mod but more like an addon to put extra spice to both modded and vanilla terraria. @@CometOriginal

I think calamity is the best mod due to it having so many items to craft and so many progression lines to pass ,but also that after finishing the actual mod there are addons to Calamity like the Wrath of the gods or The hunt for the old god that gives more things to do.

When the best mod is better toilets from 1.4 on 1.3 legacy. (In seriousness, I generally group Calamity and Thorium as the same thing as the top for playability, with Starlight River being the best in terms of oh my god this looks amazing. My brain keeps grouping mods together that don't have to do with each other like Calamity-Thorium-Spirit, Shadows of abbadon-Elements awoken-Ancients awakened, and more I can't think of.)

Personally, I think that all mods are good in their own way. As long as it is fun, then it is good. Btw, Shadow of Abaddon has been updated 1.4.4. Also, I think mod of redemption has been underrated in this case.

Id rather combine and Calamity and Thorium. Also, have Unofficial Calamity Bard and Healer Class, that way that all of the thorium classes (not sure of thrower) has post moon lord stuff until supreme calamitas. Thats all the content mods that i would do. Fargo Souls Mod just makes me... SUFFER. All the mods there i don't use except the non-content mods

Split mod was the best at its time. And even if it's not in 1.4 it could still compete with current mods imo. Its weapons and boss were amazing

The main problem with massive modpacks is file storage If your PC cant handle the mods, tmodloader will just crash
