After watching Arcane, I really like your theories about Jinx's future, particularly Jinx forgetting what the chaos is all about. I could easily see her mental state deteriorating over time, only made worse by the shimmer augmentation, to the point that she becomes the full on chaos gremlin we have in the game; forgetting who she used to be and exactly who Vi and Caitlyn are, only knowing that they are important to her.

For how she interacts with her weapons, one of Ekko’s quotes towards her is him saying he used to have a crush on her before she “started talking to the gun”. I think its interesting since it implies perhaps she wasn’t always so crazy.

Vi copes with it by policing, Jinx copes by blowing up who she blames. Because, let's be real, any crime syndicates in Zaun are absolutely affiliated with, or even run by the rich in Piltover.

In show it seemed he was only one to bring Power back without Jinx snapping right back instead. On bridge that was all Powder ha ing fun with her old friend again. An seemed in that moment she felt it all in that small pause looking up at him am the bomb wasn't Jinx but was Powedee wanting to go out as herself the same way she accidentally killed her other friends an family (but then we see she lives an is injected with Shimmer so....) Am very curious to see if Ekko can still help an get through the Shimmer an Jinx to Powder or he completely given up on her now

Not gonna lie, this *could* make sense. Like what if, the purple stuff (from the newest Arcane trailer) that makes jinx go crazy had traces of Brackern crystals and when Jinx was exposed to it she could hear the voices calling out for help, leading her to go in sane and destroy Piltover because they're the ones using the hex-tech and making a profit off it? I mean what's more, with maybe the exception of Zap, all of jinx's weapons are made in Zaun, where hex-tech isn't a thing and at best it's synthetic knockoffs.

You forgot the Ziggs comic, it gives a small incite into Jinx by contrasting it to Ziggs. Jinx does not understand what she's doing, she is a child who doesn't realize her actions have consequences. At one point she attempts to blow up the police department and succeeds and slowly come to the realization of what she just did and starts to feel shame. But then it's revealed all the police survived and then she goes. " yay now I don't have to learn from my actions now." (I don't know the exact line but that's I think basically what she says) it basically confirms she's not evil just really dumb.

Would even go as far as to say after losing her family an being taken in by Silco she has been trapped in this perpetual state of regression. Time moves on but she will stay in this childlike state cause is fun an she can be happy as long as she stays in this bubble she's created where she doesn't have to face what has really happened. None her mistakes matter now cause was all for fun an just a silky mistake. Is sad but also VERY compelling to see if she'll ever "snap out of it" and be able to face reality an all the loss etc.

I think it’s very interesting that Warwick has interactions with Jinx, saying “You were there!” And “Let me forget!”, which insinuates that these two are linked, either before or after Warwick became the Howler, so along with some of Warwick’s other intruiging voice lines and story threads (see him actually saving a girl that he hunts during his story) I really really hope he gets explored more, probably not in Arcane :(

It also made me think of Cicero in Skyrim... This Cult assassin, who got a contract on a clown, and the clown never stopped laughing until his Final breath, And that laugh haunted Cicero until he became an maniac harlequin himself. Imagine IF in the so reference "Accident" Jinx took part of, she killed Vi's little playful sister, and that haunted her to the point the little girl's joy fused with Jinx already destructive behaviour, creating the girl we know today.

People assume Jinx was based on Harley Quinn but honestly we were not thinking of Harley at all until the fans brought it which somewhat influenced her redesigns". The woman who drew and animated Jinx, admitted that if it were up to her, the character would be even more evil and Goth punk like than she ended up similar to "Arcane" Jinx.

I waited to watch this for a month, because Jinx was the character who got me into League. She’s special and I wanted to make watching this special. I’m a support main now and don’t play her often, but she’s still my girl, and I’ve always loved how fun she is to play, even when I’m losing hard it’s easy to have fun with her. I like the broken bird perspective. Sort of. Like in the start it really IS just Jinx having fun and loving explosion and causing mayhem and not knowing/remembering/realizing the trauma that happened to her, be it normal trauma or some chemicals making her bonkers. And an encounter with Vi, something she says or does, or something else, TRIGGER a downward spiral for her, that makes her relive/realize her trauma one piece after the other, which could lead to an emotional breakdown (Or FULL madness) and it ends with Vi and Jinx either ending the other or reconciling. Maybe Vi's whole thing is either bring back the person who used to be her sister, be it with hextech, fists, magic, medicin whatevs. Or end the person who has taken her place.

One of the things that kinda annoys me is with arcane coming out and being a smash hit it introduced new people to league that don't know the old lore as a result they look at this jinx and complain that she needs to be redesigned or have her base skin changed to the arcane skin without knowing that arcane jinx and lol jinx are two completely different characters and as such need different designs to reflect this. Both skins are good but arcane jinx design doesn't work for lol jinxs personality and vice versa

What would be fun is if jinx did something and the ChemTech/HexTech that changed her also made Vi forget her and it in turn broke her when big sis Vi said something along the lines of " i don't have a sister" when she had been the last thing keeping her together.

An insane twist for Vi/Jinx would be for one to a figment of the other's imagination. Making Vi the 'real' one would be more interesting, as she seem more sane, making it more of a twist, and implicating her as committing Jinx's crimes. While this would not work with strict, or even loose, continuity, that has not be a barrier for any franchise before.

First off, wanted to say how much I appreciate you trimming the animation section slightly. Animation is interesting but it was definitely expanding to take more and more of the videos. As someone who is fascinated by your lore and design analysis, this is a great change. I sort of thought she’d be a slightly lighter Joker. The Arcane trailer implies a level of darkness and tragedy around her transformation from kid inventor to...Jinx. She’s not full on murder but still the loss of her former self makes it clear she’s a casualty of the events the show covers.
