What's the deal with Sethos?

Yes that's doable but only if it's allowed by your energy or if the content in front of you is about to be over anyway (I do it at one point in the video). Just keep in mind that by then your VV and other buffs are definitely expired unless you re-apply them

I've tested it over many boss fights, which is when you'd get the least amount of energy from the enemy, and I found that, with 110% er, I could squeeze TWO charged attacks right after the burst ended and still have the burst ready for the next rotation. The key is squeezing in as many E casts as possible. Here's my rotation: Nahida E Q, Fischl E, Kirara E (or Baizhu E Q; I use Kirara on Instructor but Baizhu works well too), Sethos Q E then N2 walk cancel spam, 2 charged shots at the end and another E to conclude the rotation. Using one E right after pressing his Q seems strange because you're sacrificing ult uptime that you could spend using an additional N2 walk cancel, but using E after Q gives you more energy to work with and I found that those two charged shots at the end more than make up for that lost damage. It is possible to squeeze in an additional Sethos E on subsequent rotations before or after summoning OZ with Fischl, depending on your timing, but I generally found it unnecessary because the setup for the next rotations tended to give me more than enough energy particles to feed his Q even in subsequent rotations. Sometimes I use all four charged attacks at the end of the rotation if I think they'll be enough to end the fight, so there's that option as well

@@brodericksiz625 i have C6 Sethos but didnt build him yet, but i really wanna try him out in next Imaginarium, if electro characters gonna be allowed. So, my problem is that i dont really have options for his team, because i have C2 Clorinde and there is surely some conflict of interests which one should take which characters. I have Kirara C6, Kazuha C2, Sucrose C4, Nahida C0, YaoYao C2, Fischl C6, Kujou Sara C6, Tighnari C0, Mona C0, Xingxiu C6 so there s plenty of options, but which is will be perfect for both? Is it worth upgrading 2 Slingshots R5 for Tighnari and Sethos? And who is better for Clorinde C2: Kujou Sara or Fischl, considering huge ATK increase from C2? Looks like for me that Clorinde Kazuha Kujou Sara and Kirara is the best choice, because i am also have Foliar Incision on Clorinde, and the second team would be like Sethos Sucrose, Fischl, Nahida or Sethos Fischl Tighnari Nahida? I am not sure yet what to choose

ive been using Fischl and Nahida with him and he's so much fun to use! i genuinely reinstalled the game just to pull for him and im so glad i got him- in the process of levelling his level and talents up but he's still hitting hard

Would Dori's burst give enough energy be for more charged attacks? He be constantly under 50%, so he'd get the bonus 30% ER.

The problem is that staying on-field for more (other than the 4 that you buff via Ascension passive) is not that great. You would rather have someone take on-field for a while instead of spamming Charged Attacks. But if that's your intention anyway then sure Dori could help a bit but you'd probably get as much overall energy by running Fischl.

How about a hypercarry team involving his charge attack? Like a C6 diona , she will give 200em , Mona ( her burst uptime is 5sec and sethos charge attack buffs are also there for 5sec) and then fiscl for battery. Will this work? (I'm talking with respect to c6 sethos)

I would say yes but not double dipping into his Elemental Mastery (both from the scaling and the Quicken reaction) is not ideal imo. If you changed Diona for basically any Dendro character I'd say that that's a pretty good team for him.

Level 1 Charge Shots and Aggravate are probably Sethos best playstyle. Electro Traveler is also one of his best supports. The amulets EMC create give Sethos enough energy for an additional level 1 charge shot. With max energy Sethos can fire 7 level charge shots and with the amulets from EMC he can fire up to 5 more. Sethos' level 1 charge shots also don't ICD so each one will proc Aggravate and with 12 level 1 charge shots he pile up the damage. Two good teams for Sethos have EMC, Nahida and either Beidou or Kirara are your shielder.

Since I have all 3 electro bow users he ended up last behind Fischl and Sarah. Fischl is my second most used char on my account. Sethos requires lots of effort to play him right, while I have lots of chars who play easy going so Sethos is collecting dust for a while.

Yes but it's not worth using over Slingshot, which is actually going to give you more damage in the typical Sethos teams.

Just wanted to share a little thing I noticed about Sethos today: Using his skill to trigger hyperblooms from blooms when not in battle (either leftovers from the last fight or created through other means like using Kirara skill in water) will give you the fixed 12 bonus energy so it's a nice way to top up on energy if he's a bit low on it.

You don't really want to use Shime on Tighnari and for the new event bow, it's alright but Crit value bows are generally better

If you can build up the other stats such as atk%, crits, and some EM then yeah. If not it's best to use it as a stat stick on tighnari and use any set available

I only play male characters so I got to explore. Nicely enough, electro Aether is a better support for him than Fischl. So my team is: Sethos, electro Aether, Tighnari and Baizhu.

Why he must be weak : because cyno is stronger than him , and cyno is one of the worst characters ever developed by genshin and super lore inaccurate … one of the most hated 5star , worst investment to do ever , yes , cyno beat him , so no way he could be good ever …and he is tanned ( there is no strong tanned skin character in genshin and never will be…. Just do the list , Dehya , xinyan, cyno, now sethos…I bet on the next one being weak af to )

Well , maybe because ayaka and wrio are …basically the same unit ( damage wise) … and Eula used to be a top tier character until physical as a whole becomes useless … cyno never got top of anything, like you said, just a driver … like Dori, kequing, electro chuunibyou of darkness …the team makes him good , he isn’t …and I’m not hating, I’m a cyno main I got him c1/r1 / 90/ 230crit , 400em /2k atk , 144er …very nice build right ?
