For first time being in a Casita, you've done well. A few bumps, which I'm sure your commenters will let you know, but overall great job. I'm on my second Casita, (an '87, and a 2006) and there's a following culture, and not only is it a long wait to get a new one, but used ones seem to sell quickly, though your priing is a bit optimistic, as the A/C in the closet, saves roof space, bue robs space to the closet, so it will be a negotiating issue. The advantage of the A/C in the closet is that the Casita can be store in an average garage, hidden from HOAs, and it doesn't seem to have the hight lift kit (the giveaway is the two step entry). The front rack is used for a generator most of the time. Overall, looks pretty stock. Oh, the Freedom Deluxe is the only one that comes with those captain chairs from the factory in Rice, TX. A Tacoma would tow this with no problem.

First time I've seen an RV videographer sit on the toilet and film from that position facing away from the toilet. Very helpful! Thank you.

The switch in front of the sink is for the water pump when using the fresh water tank instead of city water. The pump runs when outlet pressure drops below a setpoint and stops when the setpoint is reached, so the pump only runs while water is in use.

Awesome, thanks for that info!!

Does the airconditioning work in that location?

Switch below sink is for water pump. Refrigerator uses propane, 120 volt AC or 12 volt DC. I own a 2002 16 foot Casita. It is 16 feet from rear bumper to trailer hitch. The living space is 13 feet long.

They carpet it like that to keep the humidity down they are well know for the wet walls if you don't

Although the carpet is a tad over done, it does offer some insulation, although it would be more difficult to keep clean. The construction reminds me of a small cabin cruiser.

It’s definitely different, that’s for sure.

I have a newer 17ft Casita but that one’s pretty nice. Extras I see are: Entertainment package $500 I think, Furnace $500, Awning $800. That’s a Stromburg Carlson propane and accessory rack on front $300 maybe. Top shelf great for Honda generator I’ve seen the hitch racks like on the bumper but don’t know price or brand. They are popular though. It might have high lift pkg not sure. Well equipped!

My dad had a burro fiberglass trailer from the 80's. It also had carpet on the inside. It would have not other insulation without it.

Stabilizer jacks are a necessity. It gets wobbly inside without them. I wonder why they aren't provided.

Just a suggestion, show the trailer AFTER it’s detailed and ready for sale. What is advantage to doing a video on a dirty trailer ?
@mylesrv2 жыл бұрын
More often than not, our pre owned RVs sell prior to being detailed and then are detailed after they are purchased and then there’s no longer any reason to make a video of it.

I have an idea for you Myles RV it's probably going to be your biggest tax write off and biggest positive impact on society. I'm sure there are plenty of people with money who can invest in the idea to help grease the wheels. Find old tear drop trailers like this one that we can use to take the homeless off the streets. There are plenty of unused parking garages in every city state that can supply electric and water hook-ups. And since you have RV dealers all around the country I'm sure we can do this in every state all at once. Out of 330 million people there is only 300 thousand homeless. That will change the living qualities to both parties the homeless and the ones around them.

Carpet lined = Ridgemont High dopeheads??

The carpet is for thermal and sound insulation since the wall is just 1/4" fiberglass. With no carpet. the walls would run wet with condensation
