What's the REAL Best T5 Troop in Bannerlord? | Sturgian Heavy Spearman Or Aserai Veteran Infantry?

Most T5 infantry are roughly on par with each other. The variation comes from how the AI once told to charge do so with reckless abandon and do not care about being surrounded and so on. You can see it in all the test where they just run into each other and you'll find pockets of 3 infantry being surrounded by like 10 or more.

I never understood these videos. If I have Sturgian Heavy Spearmen, I have them to put against Cav, not against other infantry. Try both troops against a mounted charge and let's see who does better.

@@aceofspades8253 Would love to see it. I've seen a lot of same troop vs same troops videos but I haven't seen videos where we find out what is the best one for designated purposes. Like best infantry against cav. Best against archers. Best cav against infantry (maybe even best against polearms, best against shielded, best against shock troops), best cav against archers. Best Shock infantry against cav, best against archers, best shock troop against shielded infantry. Just some things I keep wandering :). As it is now, because I'm not sure, I just use tier 6s and legionaries for infantry.

The axe men work better against infantry I think .. 🤔 as said the spear men are better against horses.. Basically imo you get a main body of axe men with a single line of spear men to help deal with horses.. 😅😂

@@ndld4955 I was looking for some more comparison fights and I saw one that checked all the shielded t5 infantries against each other and a few others. Axemen are on the lower tier (worse than spearmen even for infantry) and better than very few, like battania crap. Legionaries are best against high tier troops (not a surprise, since they have maces). Aserai infantry are best against lower geared troops (asorted infantry). Since that what you find mostly on the map Aserai infantry best, Legionaries second, Vlandians third(just for melee purposes, they didn't use the throwing skills in the tests).

@@alex86fire Yes i will do them in the future, for now i wanna finish these and start some series vidoes but thats a very good idea !

Whenever your infantry have javelins, it pays to have them advance rather than charge. Especially Battanian Wildlings - it's the only way they don't get massacred by other infantry.

True but the Ai does not always throw their throwables as seen in previous vids
