If two consenting adults want to engage in ONS, it's their prérogative but personally I think it's a bad idea. I´m a woman, so there is always the risk of pregnancy. And even if you wear a condom, it can still break and it doesn't protect you against all STDs. Some can be contracted by having infected skin rubbing against your skin. I also agree with the girl who said that she needs a connection. A ONS would do nothing for me but bring me stress. I need someone I can trust in the context of a committed relationship, otherwise I won´t be able to have any kind of pleasure. Sorry for the TMI but, if I need a quick fix, no stranger will do a better job than my hand. And finally, ONS are inherently dangerous in my opinion because it's a total gamble. You don´t know anything about the other person. They could have an STD, they could be violent, they could have hidden cameras etc. I know people are going to say that those things can happen in relationships as well, but at least you have a better chance to vet the other by waiting a bit more to know them.

Most women apparently don't even orgasm from a ONS. So if there's no emotional connection and there's such a low chance of reaching the peak physical pleasure, I have to wonder what the point even is. Is hook up culture in some countries just about doing it to say you did it?

*hindsight* One night stands are fucking stupid for a number of reasons 😭. STD’s, you dont know if that person has a partner at home, you dont know if your friend or relative has done something with that person before(sex, had a fight, dated, etc…),don’t know that person hygiene habits, condoms kinda suck, criminal history of that person, sex is probably one of the few activities where if you’re bad at it or have a small pecker people make fun of you for it and actually socially demote you(you’re not about to get socially demoted for being bad at basketball), STD’s can spread to kids so if you’re a parent doing stuff like that with strangers; you’re putting them in danger, As a man you don’t know this woman’s beliefs about abortion so if anything goes wrong you may be responsible for a kid in the future(and even if she does say she doesn’t want kids in that moments; she could be lying or her opinion can change on a drop of a dime), Women, having a one night stands opens up the door to make that decision as well

@@mmcquay73 Saying “that’s what life is all about” is irresponsible imo. Again, it’s one of those things that sounds good to say when you have no stake in someone else’s life. I’ve never had an STD but i’ve had 2 std scares and I have friends with permanent STD’s. Also again you dont know if this person has a partner at home. Its easy to say “it’s their responsibility wether or not if they wanna cheat” but thats just not right imo. Ive had “good” experiences so my advice isn’t coming from a place of resentment, more so i’ve seen a lot and i actually started to look things more broadly.

Knowledge is power. Understanding our bodies and the situations we can put ourselves in is important; teaching children what is and isn't okay is important; establishing healthy boundaries is important; de-stigmatizing the shame that might come with these topics is also important. Our health class in high school was pretty involved in sex education. We had a director come from Planned Parenthood and talk about diseases and prevention. @@mytravls I don't think it's talked about often, that's why I hate people talking so casually about "make sure you're on birth control" or "just take plan B"... both of those things are not good for the body. While birth control can help some women (reduce cramps for example) and it definitely should still be available, it is not a general rule and the long term effects are not even fully studied (most studies done are fairly recent)
@thepunisher2988
@thepunisher2988 Жыл бұрын
Hahahahah what a joke. Being on birth control isn't the same as responsible sexual behaviour, but modern sex education certainly teaches youths as if it is. Being on birth control and using condom are a responsible behaviour when seeking to avoid unwanted pregnancy and to reduce the spread of diseases, but responsible sexual behaviour is a different matter. But they never teach you that, because they assume that you can make decisions for yourself and that you will accept the consequences like responsible adults, but take look at the state of society right now. All the women who took advantage of what they were taught to be 'responsible sexual behaviour' are slowly having to face the social consequence of being unable to form/maintain a stable pair bond as a side effect of messing around in their youths. And what are they doing to deal with the consequences? They blame and belittle men and society and demand that they are entitled to the right men etc, and they take their anger out in the most inappropriate ways and cause all kinds of problems in society. I'm getting weary of all this nonsense, and if you keep shilling for Planned Parenthood after what has been discovered about them, you are part of the problem. I hope you spend the rest of your life alone reflecting on your poor choices, and if you ever get married, I'm 100% certain that you will get divorced, and you would have deserved it.

ONS's don't have to be crappy sex, as long as the other person takes direction well and you feel comfortable verbalizing what feels good and what doesn't. If you choose to do this, consider the following: 1) Exchange contact info (phone#, social media, etc.) Just in case...it doesn't mean that you have to contact them. 2) Make sure you know or trust someone that knows that person 3) Always use protection--for a female, always be on birth control and don't just rely on condoms 4) Go to a neutral location, not his/her home. 5) females, go to the restroom to pee immediately after (helps to prevent sperm from traveling and allows your body to self-clean) 6) Shower if you can--if a condom breaks, you can wash him off. 7) Perhaps the most important one--make sure someone knows where you are--exact location. Plan to call to check-in for peace of mind. 8) For men, choose a place with people around--a busy hotel with security cameras in the hallways or lobby. Don't drag her, allow her to be captured willingly walking with you. 9) For men, always get verbal concent prior to engaging 10) For men, ask her if she's okay afterwards 11) Always stop if she asks 12) Make sure she's not drunk or "tipsy"-- in certain countries, this is considered rape 13) Always verify age if the partner looks young.

OK ladies pls don't take sex Ed from a YT comment. 1) showering will actually make sperm swim further in faster 2) peeing after sex should be done regardless of ONS or not, you need to flush out bacteria from your urethra to not get a UTI 3) If not using condom (I don't recommend) definitely shower cause sperm changes the PH of your vagina and you can get a fungal infection 4) correct, some STDs are transmitted also with condom, such as HPV which can get really serious (cancer if it's a bad strain). Get vaccinated if you can. 5) STDs can get transmitted through oral sex too though.

It's ironic how the only foreigner girl in this video refused the idea of ons and said I don't like it. What I want to point out is Korean culture is not conservative for sex they just don't talk about it in open because it's their culture that it's a taboo topic but west has accepted it better they say what they think and do . Just because you don't talk about it in open doesn't make you conservative you need to practice it to call it conservative.

Did you not have sex to create the child in the first place? Teachers have enough to deal with already. Why is sex ed the responsibility of the schools? Please doesn’t descend into the the disgusting debauchery much of the west has fallen in to with porn addictions, sex addictions, sex meaning nothing more than a transactional exchange with no love or feelings involved, high body counts, high one night stands, high abortions, high single parent homes, high numbers of kids growing up without fathers in the home, girls thinking guys only value them for their body and the sex they’ll give up etc. Seriously Korea…..you don’t want these problems. Edit: missing word

Like someone said there, I also get the impression that men there watch porn and think that is what they should recreate. It seems like there is not much conversation with their partner about what feels good for them because of how conservative the country still seems. And to be honest this was the case in the west too before more conversation started flowing and women particularly spoke about it more. It can also still be the case for many young people that don't know about sex well yet or are just bad at it. I'm just all for both sides researching and educating themselves how to properly please their partner, and of course having conversation about it with them.

@@_CL South Korea is not even close to being as affected by porn as the U.S and the west is, that also goes for most of the East (except Japan, we all know that). In the west, soft porn is thrown around casually in a TV show or Netflix series that you'd think you'd be able to watch with your family or partner, only to have disturbing sexual scenes thrown at you without warning.

Use informed consent, be honest and respectful. That's how you make the situation win-win. We make our choices for complex and multifaceted reasons. The consequences of individual actions are never completely isolated to the individual, and they have cumulative effect on society over time. There is a reason why societies develop values and ideals in order to shape individual behaviour, and individuals will be judged by wider society based on the ideals and values the society upholds. This is normal, and there is nothing wrong with that. People who are afraid of being judged for their social behaviour are almost always the kind that goes against the society's ideals and values out of self-interest, much the same way criminals are afraid of being judged in a court of law. If you think irresponsible social behaviour cannot harm others, you are either ignorant or stupid or both. Declining marriage and birth rate in South Korea is a result of the cumulative effect of various irresponsible social behaviours, and those who make it worse should be judged for their irresponsible behaviour. I do NOT respect anyone's agency when they act in ways to harm and devalue society.

@@CoachAhava-0000 There is nothing wrong with being prejudicial against those who don't uphold the values and ideals that a society is built upon, Sure, everyone has their own sense of morality, but that doesn't mean they all serve the long term interest of society. As a matter of fact, most people do nothing but pursue primitive self-indulgence, and self-justification for such behaviour isn't the same as sense of morality. Don't underestimate your capacity to unwittingly harm others and the wider society through your self-righteous complacency. Those who pursue short term self-interest based on pseudo-moralistic self-righteousness at the cost of long term interest of society do not deserve any empathy, and unless they are controlled in ways to limit their harm to themselves and others, their cumulative harm to society will eventually become an existential threat to society. Take a look at South Korea right now, and if you say everyone should respect each other's choices, well, that isn't much different to saying South Korea should accept its decline. Don't kid yourself, not everyone's sense of morality deserve to be respected, especially when it serves to damage the long term interest of the population.

The reason Korea's sexual culture is conservative is because the influence of "Confucianism" is so strong. Confucianism is an ideology that argues that in order for a country to have strong military or economic power, high technology, each citizen must be enlightened. Enlightenment refers to strong social norms that each citizen must adhere to. Among these social norms are those that emphasize purity and wholesomeness. Korea is a society where it has been extremely forbidden for women to wear clothes that show their skin since ancient times. In other words, simply put, Confucianism is an ideology that emphasizes viewing sex as a sin. This is because Confucianism teaches that if sex is not considered a sin and is freed, the people will become corrupted, and if the people become corrupted, the discipline of the country will be shaken and a civil war may soon break out in the country. During the Joseon Dynasty, Korea's old medieval feudal state, male supremacy was strong. During the Joseon Dynasty, dating between married men and women was prohibited, married men and women had separate rooms, and women were required to wear an Islamic hijab-like clothing called "Jang-ot" in Korean. And in Korea, where Joseon's Confucianism was inherited, couples are prohibited from kissing on the streets. And there is a social atmosphere where tattoos and piercings are almost prohibited. Still, its influence has diminished significantly compared to the past. But remnants of Confucianism's influence still remain. In the old days, Korea and its medieval feudalistic country, the "Joseon" era, were much more sexually conservative than the Middle Eastern Arabs, Iranians, British Puritans, and medieval Europe. Many young Korean generations dislike these conservative sexual cultures and still want to get rid of these conservative sexual cultures, but Korea's conservative sexual culture is still not going away. In addition, Korea is a very sexually conservative society where viewing pornography, prostitution, and homosexuality are all prohibited.

The girl is so right. There are 2 types of almost extremes in Korea. 1 are the guys who only have one night stands and fwb exclusively (especially with foreigners) or 2 the guys who think intimacy is only for 2 people in a relationship. There isn't thaaaat much in between in Korea. I feel like in Western cultures it's more mixed and just live freely, take it as it is. While in Korea you're either 1 or 2.

That's not true. Born and raised in SK here. There are plenty in between. It's just socially frowned upon to say: i've had sex with this person and that. We don't do that. There's a word "씹선비" which basically means super f**king conservative person. A lot of Koreans are 씹선비. They care about their outlooks and social reputation, and how they're treated and perceived. You can't be seen as sluts, period. It matters to them. If you're in college and horny af it's a different story tho. I don't think early 20's are fully grown adults. They just graduated from high school. You're horny and you're looking for sex. ONS FWB who cares. We're all dumb in college. Bad decisions are made everyday. Bottom line, after college, as you grow up, majority of people won't publicly open up and discuss their sex life with others. They barely do even when you're very close friends with them. But do they have casual sex? Yes they do. They just won't open up and talk about it like Westerners do. 1 u described are just fuckbois. They're all over the world. And not just the guys. Girls get horny too. 2 u described are those who understands loyalty. And scared of getting STD.

If you got a problem then don't come to Korea. South Korean society is having a serious problem with declining marriage and birthrate, and we don't need the degenerate Western culture to make it even worse. You think the 'just live freely, take it as is' culture has no side effects? Take a look at your society right now. In all fairness, I wouldn't want to raise my children in such cesspool of a culture, if you could even call it a culture that is. Yes, in a healthy relationship, intimacy is only for 2 people, and anything beyond that is just a primitive pleasure seeking behaviour. What do you think sets humans apart from animals? Humans develop cultures to govern itself as part of building a more complex society. If different societies independently came up with the concept of monogamous relationship, it stands to reason that there is some value in it, if you see no value in it, then it is based on your own value judgement, which you must accept the consequences for. However, don't fool yourself that it is 'culture'. Western culture also used to value monogamous relationship between a MAN and a WOMAN, but that has been destroyed by people who seek to engage in degeneracy. So don't confuse culture with degeneracy. I'm sick of foreigners trying to normalize degeneracy and influence Asian societies to accept it.

Korea is actually doing pretty fine in terms of sex education. Even if the depth of education is poor, the population seems pretty smart enough to figure it out en masse. WHy? If you look at the data, Korea has low rates of teenage pregnancy and STD proliferation. Although, I'm not sure what the numbers are for the gay community. The best thing Korea can do is offer OTC birth control available to everyone. I know condom use is very normalized and the default in Korea. Conservative vakues are core to Korea's identity and that is not a bad thing. People are people, and people desire sex, but I hope Korea does not become more accepting of promiscuity, especially in the age of social media, where that type of behavior is not only accepted but also celebrated. Yeah, people don't realize the hidden mental toll (the physical risks are obvious). The psychological studies are pretty clear, even if you think it is no big deal, especially when you are young and experimenting, sex without intimacy and with multiple partners increases your risk of depression and not being able to form healthy, long-term relationships. Social media would have you believe that promiscuity is acceptable behavior but high "body count", like above 5 before marriage, increases the risk of divorce - the stats are clear. The best thing to do to form a healthy relationship with sex is to seek real relationships, develop friendship and intimacy as a precursor to sex, and try to keep partners to a minimum before marriage. You can buck the data but at your own risk, the numbers don't lie, so what are the odds that you are the exception?

That's because not teaching them about sex has nothing to do with conservatism. It has to do with laziness or neglect of your children which most parents are guilty of. Sex is never something ignored in religion. It's just that there is a time and a place for it. Even Muslims who are probably the most conservative people on the planet are free to engage in as much sex as they desire - so long as they're married. It goes as far as deeming sex with your married partner a good deed for which God himself will reward you. There's no reason to not teach your child how to do it properly, unless you know you're such a screw up parent that you fear they will immediately take your knowledge and run to the nearest place they can have random sex, and do just that.

Going from asking them about their opinion on sex education to asking them what they sexually fantasize about was invasive and totally inappropriate. Saying "If you don't mind me asking..." doesn't make it ok.

Woa here in Spain our sex ed, at least where i live, in Bcn is very very cool. We are thought about like sex in 6th grade for the first time, as an introduction and then completly at 9th grade, and so in this grade we have a whole schapter of sex ed to cover in biology. And not just in bio, we gradually have small talks and "talleres" where we learn quiet well, with professionals and health care workers such as nurses and uni students, about anything and everything, from prevention methods to diseases, a very very cool fact even tho i studied in a public high school. Deff, my best moments in life were in high school, adulthood is fucking boring

I think with a population of almost 52 million in south korea they have pretty much figured it out. Sex does not need a culture, it is private and self explanatory. Being taught about basic biology and and safety should be enough.

@@g2000g In schools sex education is taught but its not mandatory as a subject in much detail.. its just a basic understanding of the reproductive system and ABC of the body not A to Z. The media is completely out of control over sexualizing everything...and its things like prostitution are very common..People over drink when they go out to mingle and sexual behaviour becomes rampant at a young age I don't want to say how young here but it's that bad. I think South Korea should be proud of its self compared to the rest of the world, but just is just my opinion. When things relax too much they get out of control. I think Koreans have better control over their children....and that is EXACTLY how it should be. Sex culture to me is kind of a daft thing, because I don't see sex as a recreational habit. Its a serious, spiritual and long term thing because your connecting with someone. Other wise it will get old fast and pretty much disgusting and a spreading of disease eventually. Who knows maybe I am just a prude.

Koreans tend to feel ashamed about contraception. Therefore, discussions about contraception in Korea often revolve around issues related to sexually transmitted diseases,unwanted pregnancies, and abortions.

9:14 Many people consider smoking to not be strange but that doesn't negate the fact that it harms themselves and the people around them. If she wants to see herself and others like toilets, then she is entitled to her own opinion but she shouldn't delude herself into thinking that that is fine for human beings in general. Filth is still filth.
