Thers no denying dragon ball is popular and it had a major impact for anime comeing to the west. But anybody who cals it the best series ever maide eather... 1 hasn't seen much or any more anime. 2 is too stuborn to try watching anything else becos they believe theve found the peek of shonan anime. 3 dosnt cear for or dosnt know what a good flowing story is and thinks some boring formula is the most entertaining thing ever. Or 4 fosnt know or understant what a good fight sceen is. The short ayanokoji vs ryuen fight in cote s2 was more intresting than any fight I've seen in dragon ball.
