as an Iron hands player, he is perfect. I mean genuinely just perfect. They captured his looks from his official artwork well, they gave him a great pose, and the back pack is so good. Even his warlord trait is nice. I will buy 2 or possibly 3, 1 to build and the others for bits and converting.

I think the term you ought to use for the plethora of big rivets on space Marine armour should be Dalek Skin, as when they are painted in a different colour to the base armour. That is what they remind me of.

Really happy to see the iron hands get something. I would have preferred the servo arm extended though, but it doesn’t look like the most difficult conversion to give him arms, a new helmet, and different guns. As for armor, I think it’s a mix of mark iii with some v elements. Mish mash.

I'm fairly certain, if memory serves, that the armour he wears is a mix of a few different types that have been cobbled together because the shattered legions were cobbling together different armour patterns, so mk 5 shoulder pads, mk 3 torso, mk 4 legs on one marine would make sense. Then again it's a while since I listened to the shattered legions audiobook

simple answer, artificer mk3. MK3 is the armor that the irons hands used pre and mid heresy, and that armor is definitely an artificer mk3

Definitely mk 3 with other mark parts since the shattered legion had to make do with whatever they could get their hands on for repairs. I’m glad I finally get a named character for the IH that isn’t deleted or in legends

One of my favourite HH 2.0 ICs so far tbh. Putting my Raven Guard list on pause with fingers crossed for useful but fluffy Shattered Legion rules. Tbh for once it'll be the first time in 35 years GW make my army plans more viable than shutting them off.

The capes should be for formal dress only. They would be a hindrance in battle. If they are tear aways then you need a new one after every deployment.
