The Porche drag race is awesome (and so was the towing competition). The network in the Cybertruck is AVB-Audio Video Bridging, something that I worked on at Meyer Sound LAbs back in 2010. Apple computers have had AVB built in since early 2000's .

hey mike glad you did a video on these details talking about it... and i am not here to unduly criticize however: the thing is i am not against the general premise of the design. stainless is cool material, and the delorean inspired design is a warm change. as are the flat panels and general look. personally i would not call it unattractive or anything like that. however the main thing i would be pointing towards taking a scrutiny of is basically the everyday practicality. and this is where it comes down to the egos of upper management and i have seen this in other corporations in recent years (cough, nvidia, jensen huang). whereby the guy at the top insists based upon purely his ego and it ends up being to the detriment of the final product design. so here are the individual elon's mistakes in my opinion. (and not the general tesla engineers yes men whom didnt want to be getting fired over it...) 1) wing mirrors: its understandable and because the legal regulations and we have been thru it all with supercars already. those requirements for being street legal and the drag etc. only problem here is: because elon isnt accepting the reality of the situation he thinks his clout still matters to make them like... too much feeble and naf from a practical stantpoint. because in elon's mind if he makes them badly enough, then people will feel more compelled to remove them. and/or force a pressure on the authorities to change the road legal requirements long term. and this is all a clear mistake because it makes his product more naf. and then people has to start doing extra work like 3rd party wing mirror kits that are actually good etc. so its fixable but still a mark against. 2) steering wheel. we have been through this before on other tesla vehicals... the wheel is not round enough simply it is actually more dangerous and leads to less control while driving. this is also perhaps possible to change (perhaps). but it is just entirely daft from a practical design standpoint. why? because elon musk has a massive ego thats for the only reason why 3) the back of the cab slope. now this one isn't fixable. however i wanted to bring it up because in my opinion... if you had a step on the rear window. rather than a continuus long slope. then you get better headroom in the back. and i am just guessing but it would not look aesthetically bad or anything. so perhaps there was during design phases a mockup proposal, that was then rejected by elon. in favor of having more trunk space volume yes? but even a small step on the rear cab would have been great imho. and maybe even look a bit nicer and more attractive. but thats just my own opinion. it is not perfect. but i think some reasonable things would be for tesla themselves to provide better mirrors and steering wheels. as an option or later revisions. but i also agree with all of your own suggestions too on it. so while i do still support the general concept.. its elon himself i am afraid i simply do not wish to support his ego. if he had somebody else whom was a credible engineer to push back against him (that he listened to and accepted) to have final say. somebody like a johnny ive equivalent. then i believe that those criiticisms are a bit like the apple product criticisms which is quite commonly said things. and nothing new or worth getting upset about. (if you are a tesla fan). it is still possible to appreciate from an engineering perspective the moving forwards on those new positive accomplishments... but i am not going to fall in love with the thing. after already going through all of those apple let-downs sagas by now its same general thing... tesla is the new apple basically they reproduced the apple business model. but for vehicles. so its just another type of a business, (not a passion) at this point

Thanks for your deep thoughts on this! I've never been an Apple fan so I haven't had to live through those particular nightmares! :^)
