Thank you for the great videos. I'd love to see more video about how to increase mileage for older folks and how they can deal with injuries. Thank you!

Hi Eric. Thank you for the update. Glad all is well! My wife and I have followed your channel for years. Appreciate all the training tips on proper form. They really help in understanding the nuances of proper run form. An ongoing process here but as runners of 40+ years who are now in our 70s we love the challenge! Looking forward to your follow up videos on heart rate training and “joining you” out on the trails. Thank you!!

Hats off to you, Eric, for prioritising that time with your daughter over and above producing more content for KZbin. Regarding favourite videos, etc, going forward, they'll all good! You have a pretty unique style, and there's lots of variety in what you do, so more of the same, is all I would say. And thank you!

Hi Eric, so good to see a new video again! I’m glad you spent some time with your daughter this summer. Just to tell you, my running has never been better this summer. I gained so much from your camp and your videos. My favorites have always been how to run uphill and downlhill efficiently. One of my recent favorites is the “How to finish an ultra”. It gave me some great insight on mindset when running a challenging race. I ran a 25K about a week ago that had over double the elevation gain I’ve ever done and I finished! This wasn’t an ultra, but the challenge was there.

I like specific topics and going along runs with you, getting into your thoughts (example: “Runners: Tight, inflexible, in pain. “Trail Running Tips Uphill”). I also love your videos on mindset: example, “Trying vs Doing”. I have watched some of the same videos multiple times. I’ve also come to enjoy your interview content. Podcast style. I would love to continue to see more of all the same stuff you have built, with your thoughts (maybe even some newer topics in mind). Thanks for all of this!

Hi, nice to see new video. I like the most videos about running form and about what to do and what not to do (mistakes) during gait cycle. These says I am thinking about whether to run with quicker shorter steps with less power or with longer "heavier" steps with more power (but also with good form - no overstriding etc.). And what I also like is the countryside on your videos. Even if I prefer shorter videos, the country there is beautiful.

I’d like to see more videos about mental work to endure running for longer distances and also to keep running for the rest of our life. Also mental training when encounter pain and how to continue. Thanks for your videos and inspiration. You helped me keep running in a time when life was hard for me 👍

Erik great to see your video’s back, but more importantly it great you took the time out to spend quality time with the Fam. In relation to your question a few videos have stood out. Love the video’s where you talk about building foot strength and show the exercises with wobble board/slant board, I’ve just received them today so look forward to implementing the program from your books. Also loved the videos you did about type of shoes to wear when looking to transitioning to a natural shoe, there’s a couple where you have gone through several shoes and explain what is best for each type of terrain, time spent running or training load. 😎

I found your video on finding the flow super helpful, particularly the part where you mentioned that sometimes the biggest enemy is the finish line. this helped me find more joy and gratitude in the middle of ultra distances. gotta stop and smell the flowers every once in a while! having more content on beneficial mental mindsets in training, during races, and post races would be awesome.

Cool your daughter is off to Uni. Eldest has just finished her Uni course and other two are working their way through. On the video front it would be good to see some motivational type videos, why you run, where you run, challenges you like. I also remember the city to Jackson Hole promo video from a few years ago, that was so inspiring

My favorite is the short form episodes, like how much heel contact to use, since I had been overstriding a bit. I kept overthinking form so that was the simple que I could follow.

One I keep watching is more well relatively new you’re trying versus doing another kind I really like to get some scenery and they’re deep years ago. Something happened to me that actually turned out bad. I actually wanna race and I kind of lost my joy running for a little while because I was I wanted to do that again until finally I just ran away and gofound the love of running again and that is the only race I ever came close to winning. Looking forward to seeing everything coming back. I’m still subscribed.

Great to see you back again coach. In terms of content , I am wondering what is your experience with people running with feet pointing outwards almost duck like, does it always come down to foot and hip strength ? Or is it somewhat normal to a degree and can still be good running form?

I have been road running in xero hfs shoes and I have slowly been building up to a point now where my calves are not sore after most runs. I also walk around in the same shoes and essentially only use barefoot shoes for anything and everything. I wanted to ask if it is okay to run and walk all the time in miminal shoes. and if so, how can we prevent injuries?
