I just got back from Ghana a couple of weeks ago. I was there for 2 weeks. This was my second time being there and I love it. Planning on going back next year.

What type of electrical substations do they have in the communities in Ghana? Are their transformers updated? There is a shortage of transformers now. My husband designs and builds substations for electrical companies. Its very complex. All the transformers are going into the DATA centers substations in America.

It's really sad that ghana keeps having power outages. The government seriously need to fix that issue. How do you expect more ppl to keep visiting when they keep having dumsor (power outages) constantly

The context to the unemployed overly educated is the colonial education mindset. The locals didn't understand the role of education in Ghana's development trajectory. The message we got was to get educated and be ready for an office job. We didn't make the connection between industry and education. Even entrepreneurial parents send their children to school to get office jobs instead of returning to help them to expand on the business (i.e., business devt & expansion) or to get into import substitute industry. The fact that the education curriculum does not capture this reality is the most unfortunate.

Ghana sounds like they have too many issues. It's 2024 No lights, no gas, infrastructure. Why are they getting more expensive? Something wrong with the government?
@roseanne14664 ай бұрын
True, and that's the reason why nobody wants to invest in that country. Buying a house there is a financial loss not an investment because there is nothing there really attractive for tourism

Every country has issues. We don’t have light problem and no gas problem. There was temporary changes of transformers which caused some light out but restored

According to recent statistics and financial reports, the average monthly salary in Ghana is approximately GHC 4,000, although this figure can oscillate depending on the aforementioned factors. In general terms, the average salary in Ghana reflects the overall cost of living and economic conditions of the country.

With insurance my CT scan co pay yesterday was $300. I am spitting fire right now. Oh my word sis that cost is un-heard of! I saw a source which said Stevie felt disrespected by the US Gov. He wanted to meet with the Pres but that did not happen and was not a priority. I don't blame him for booking.
