Thank you for letting us know about Cupcake here Emily, the second you said you were crying and Cupcake was sick, I started crying, I went thru something with my Phloydy 2 years ago (he is now 19) and I cried so hard and after his 3 hour vet visit, I took matters into my own hands on the after care and he is thriving now, if you ever give Cupcake dry food, get rid of it, I found it is bad for their bowels and absorbs too much water from their little systems. I am so happy she is okay!!!!

Kayla Pickett the shadow palettes remind me of Pixi’s holiday edition palettes, but with nicer packaging. It would be cool if Too Faced combined a lot of these into a compact book almost as Pixi did, so we can have one kit with everything under the sun included. That would be fantastic for those who travel a lot as well as minimalists who would like everything in one thing to have at home or grab and go.

Yes thank you! This wasn’t meant to be a “full face” palette with different finishes. It’s their take on a classic matte contour palette and it seems to be well done with a variety of tones for different depths of skin and I felt like she didn’t acknowledge or give them credit for that at all. And I personally don’t like a full face of shimmer either... it’s too much and doesn’t give any natural dimension to the face. I just feel like she missed the entire point. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I wanted the Natural Love palette so so much. I shied away from the price, though, and wound up purchasing a good dupe for the palette from Bad Habit (formerly of the Hush app). So when the Natural Lust palette came out I squee'd like an idiot but again, refused to spend so much on a palette. A good friend of mine purchased the Natural Lust palette for me for my birthday 💜💜 it's absolutely beautiful and I love it.

I don't feel like going thru all the trouble of contouring etc, but you are the one person that has made me even want toexperiment with that, at times. Been looking for the right eye shadow palette to invest in. I’ve looked at so many, bought a couple ‘dupes’ ..not satisfied...went to JC Penny for slippers and ended up getting this palette! I have never ever been able to find a bronzer that works for my extremely fair skin tone and the natural lust bronzer looks like it would be perfect and subtle. I just found the natural lust pallet at tj maxx and was checking your video out to see an honest review.

I still use and enjoy my cocoa contour in the cardboard packaging. I even use the angled brush that came with it. Guests who need to use my makeup usually pick that also. Easy to use and you can usually mix and match your perfect shade. You can even use the shimmer to achieve a shimmer bronze.

i bought the Natural Love palette and was so jazzed about it back then... but then found that i didn’t reach for it nearly as often as i had hoped. some of the colors didn’t have as great of payoff. this one has a few pretty pops, but it’s still pretty homogeneous- like you mentioned with the rose golds. I reach for my colourpop singles way more often and for the value, i think i won’t get this follow up, even though the packaging is BEAUTIFUL and totally appeals to me that way. thanks for a great review, i did really like the looks you put together and seeing the comparison of them. nice to spend the time hearing your thoughts!

So glad you reviewed this. I HADto get the palette and the bronzer because of the peacock packaging - that's totally my thing. Agree the bronzer is disappointing, but this is the one time i would still have bought something just for the packaging. Love the palette though! New to increasing my makeup collection so I didn't have the previous palette, and am really enjoying the different shades. Appreciate you reviewing this with an open mind, without just tossing it aside because it's "been done before".

I know some people don’t like when a product needs to be used in a certain way but that bronzer requires a stiffer brush to pick up. I got it and used it with the elf complexion brush and I didn’t see much. Then I used a denser stiffer brush (sonia g) and I though I would give it another try otherwise I would return and it actually looks so pretty. I have medium skin tone. Also, the peacock is not a highlighter for me either. I think it just adds radiance when you mix or put in top of your bronzer. Kind of reminded me of the hourglass powders...

You're right about a stiffer brush. I absolutely love the highlighter. It's not like a real highlighter but adds gorgeous glow. I use it on my cheeks just after using setting spray so it is even more radiant

It was my understanding that the bronzer was not meant to be a “palette” of two colors, but meant to be swirled. Which answered for me the inquiries of why the small amount of contrast and why so firmly pressed. To me it was meant to be swirled together with your brush before applying as an all over “glow” look, not maybe a contour and highlight type of look. Perhaps it still wouldn’t function well in that application, but I’d love to hear if you try it that way!

Natural love was one of my first high end eyeshadow palettes, and I really love it. I would consider getting this palette but I have so many, and I would rather just mix my natural love palette with some other bright palette. Both of them have GORGEOUS packaging

Had to take a look. I’ve just recently really gotten hooked on Too Faced products. Everything I’ve tried seems to work so well so far, and the packaging has been beautiful. Also they honored the discounts they sent me through email when I signed up with an account, where Tarte kept saying the very things I wanted were “excluded” from any coupons they sent out. I agree with some of the others though…wish they would tame down some of those names. Women are more than the sum of their parts! Lovely tutorial! What a gorgeous look!

I’m really glad two faced finally released a face palette that is inclusive of deep skin tones. And I actually love 100% matte contour palettes, mixing shimmers and mattes can go badly when the shimmers get into the matte shades. And I love having a variety of shades to mix and match when contouring

I don’t know I mix the shades sometimes to get a different look. Maybe it’s good for medium skintones who can use either colors. I have medium/olive skin tone and can use all the colors. So I like it so far.

I agree with you but I have to say something. I am a ballroom dancer and I am also VERY pale, but on the dance floor I have to get a lot darker (so I usually use self-tanning products). So a palette that has contour products, bronzers and highlighters in different colors is pretty handy 🤪 but yeah, for someone that doesn’t usually need it it would be a waste of money for sure

I kept going back and forth on buying this palette but after watching your review I'm going to buy it. The packaging and shades are beautiful and I could use a palette like this one.

So sorry to hear about your cat. I hope Cupcake recovers quickly. I really appreciate your review of the new Too Faced Natural Lust products. The packaging is so pretty that I have been "lusting" after both the bronzer and the eyeshadow palette. I own (bought on eBay at a significantly reduced price) and really like the Natural Love Palette but wondered if the colors in the first several rows of the new palette are just so similar to it that it might not be worth shelling out the bucks for the pricy Natural Lust palette.
