I think the dbz show as a whole is part of the blame. In the old spark games the strongest characters where like ssj4 gogeta super vegito buuhan etc. but i was still able to complete even with krillin online. Ever since the introduction of these strong ass characters it has made everything worse. Not to mention the older games was similar to mortal kombat where it forces closer combat in this one the amount of space you can cover is wild

Bro tell me about it, trying to rise up as one of the best roshi’s on ranked, everybody uses ssb vegito/gogeta and ssj4 gogeta and full power jiren. Had one dude spam gogeta rush move 4 times in a row then tell me im bad, while almost losing to me 6 times in a row. It sucked cause I kept getting matched with him for an hour.

However you can be master roshi, Goku, maybe two other characters against ui goku and one other person and say it’s more balanced.

@@unge1483 I agree when someone’s cheesing with it, but there are ways, enough hand to hand combat and some ki blasts, even wild move can have users dumbfounded, and you can gauge when you’re good to catch them before they use it again, especially with spammers they can’t help themself. But if you get far enough, you’re almost guaranteed to get sparking off. And you have no choice but avoid the ultimate. When it can take out damn near 1.75 bars of health, if not more, you can end up losing automatically, no matter how good you are.

Game has 0 balance. gogeta ss4 and super vegito need to have their moves nerfed. vegito has after imagine so u just have to wait it out and gogeta ss4 spammers just try and desperately get to sparking mode as fast as possible and just spam another one after they use one when he already does a ton of combo damage. then i realized this game is just a non competitive goofy joke game that was meant to spam ultimates left and right and if you wanna have fun with anybody else welp enjoy loss after loss. youre gonna need 3000 hours of sweating and master the natural lag of peer to peer and counter ever fusions possible. ive beaten a couple ss4s with janemba and others but those 2 characters and even kefla has the ultimate spam with 4 hp bars just go straight to sparking mode to do anything. remove the 3 meter skill that takes them to saprking mode and itd be a huge nerf to their spam.

Another counter for insta-sparkers is to dash out. Either up and down works too. Depends on where your opponent is at and how they move but it's a decent shot to waste their instant-spark. If they dash towards you, you could either continue the dash if they don't stop you or to use perception cause the insta-sparker is hoping to do a fast knockback combo so punish em for it.

@@sirchip7070 the issue is the sparking spammers know how to counter the dragon dash. this game is so bad with balance bruh. the devs went out of their way to really help sparking spammers. i think their intention was for players to only use fusion sparking spam in ranked. in c and d ranks you are able to use other characters but the higher you go the more likely the fusion sparking spammer is to know how to counter your dragon dash because they expect you to dragon dash. all they have to do is do a knockback attack once and they can use their skill to get sparking mode in 1 second and thats game over. they will just wait or try and do another knockback to use sparking ultimate. this game really is just to spam. either that or they dont play their own game. ive tried dragon dashing and it works somewhat but those higher ranks man they know how to counter that.
