@@bulldog-vq8mt i tried it too buddy trust me i have experimented alot before concluding that currently 865 and 870 are the best options. I went for the dimensity 1200 and it was pretty good But... The developers, the apps and the games are not as optimised as they are for Snapdragon so no matter how stable and performance centric that dimensity was... I always felt a lack of optimisation in many aspects.

This is the most informative video about the chips I have ever found because I have searched numerous websites about the issues and the performance of 8 gen phones and now I can say that I will wait another 6 months for a new phone and will probably buy a 8gen 2 phone because I have committed to my previous phone for more than 5 years and I am buying a new one just because the SBI app in mine has stopped working, I am willing to commit for atleast 7 years before I switch to another phone so will have to wait more for a stable chip, thanks man you've got a new subscriber.

Samsung do really have some heating issues as compared to tsmc , cortex x2 runs very hot but tsmc does some magic in order to make their fab to work at better efficiency and also a little bit less heating than samsung. Remember 845 was made by Samsung and its really stable but heating is still there as compared to the most stable android processor 865 which was manufactured under tsmc , so i would say there might be some thermal problem with Samsung's fab but along with that they provided one of the best chipset i.e 845.

QCSD doesn't need to go for 4nm -3nm they should improve their efficiency and Power at 5nm process nodes. They should learn from the mistakes they made last year. ADRENO is still leading GPU in mobile segment. but If we want the best then we have to find out the best combination of CPU GPU together. I think QCSD will do it's come back in upcoming 3-4 years. Till I will use sd870 😀.

I think that the main culprit behind the heating issues of Snapdragon 888 and 8 Gen 1 is not the foundries but actually the power hungry Cortex-X1 (888) and Cortex-X2 cores found in the architecture... Cortex-A78 was cooler and stable thus there were no heating issues in Snapdragon 870, 865+, 865 etc.

I have 8 gen 1 ... It never heats during normal usage , like watching KZbin for hours, movies for hours, couple camera clicks, etc etc.... Yes during game play it heats up .. but during NFS it never heats (it's better optimized game for 8 gen 1 I think).....8 gen 1 is good...but most apps are not still optimized for this ,,

Mtk 9000 cpu is way ahead of 8 gen 1, more cache , Snapdragon didn't even try to improve their cpu, just shrink the node size from 5nm to 4nm. But they did good in the GPU part but , in terms of efficiency both 8gen 1 and mtk 9000 are same

These days i can't use my mobile in direct sunlight or keep it at the car dashboard to be used for Maps because it becomes so hot that either it shuts down or hangs for a long time. 845 was also manufactured by samsung and it was a good chip Some of 8 gen 1 will be manufactured by tsmc due to poor yield by samsung and manufacturing capacity cz apple had already given order to manufacture their 5nm chips so tsmc was not able to fully commit to snapdragon thats why they moved to samsung Now they have moved back to tsmc not because of poor design my samsung but because they have larger manufacturing capacity and higher yields ratio as compared to samsung You have tried to use your own theory here, some of it is right but not completely true

I am using 8 gen 1 processor in my S22 plus from last 20 days but its getting slightly warm only during heavy use or charging no heating at all, even my iphone 12 heats more than this during charging Heating is what i have experienced with my previous s20 plus with exynos 990 it was horrible

I do not blame snapdragon 8th gen 1 as i am using S22 ultra and does gaming for everyday 1 hour. I play BGMI and COD. However, COD is very much optimized rather than BGMI. COD at extreme graphics doesn't feel that much hot. However BGMI is not at all well optimized for this processor. And i have found the solution of it. Spinbot icedot is just amazing and now i can say this processor is the beast. Also, by time snap 8th gen 1 will be improved with software updates and till than enjoy gaming with no worries

@@aseemf1354 bro how far can they push the fucking thermals and i know some about snapdragon cpu optimization and stuff i use custom roms and kernels , Normally Xiaomi doesn't throttle on MIUI Russian Units and Mi 11 (Snap 888) had reports of motherboard being burnt up The custom rom devs also said that its a hardware level issue Actually even it throttles below a Meditek G90T . Even My G90T doesn't heat up like the 8 Gen1 And even Meditek SocS aren't optimized as Snapdragons still it does better than this 8 Gen 1 Even My G90T give 75+ fps on cod (with custom thermal configs) still less heat up than a 8 Gen 1 Device A snap 778G can pull constant 90 on cod without heat whereas a 8 Gen 1 cannot and will not. 778G performs great as it came out too and i haven't heard any socs getting very better with oem updates (except google) and on custom roms mostly all socs performs to their max after some kernel optimization and in custom roms too 8 Gen 1 (big failure) Remember Snapdragon 820 (fabrication manufacturing defect) is the new 8 Gen 1 My friend had a Lg phone with a 820 no matter what you do you can't fix it he rooted and modded thermals no use very high battery drain unresponsive touch due to heat if a chip is released with heating issues then it will be like that always it can't be fixed unless u throttle it. Qualcomm will never purposely release a soc with heating issue but they were forced to because they had no other way and played with fucking market gimmick
