The only problem i have comfort wise is how far the steering wheel is from me. I have to stretch my arms all the way out to reach it, and it only telescopes like half an inch. I wish there was a mod for this.

Added the 1-1/4” front and 1/2” rear seat mod and now my driving position is way more comfortable. Got the much needed lower thigh support and a better view over the hood. I’m 5’7”.

Toyota's seats are angled too deep and it makes my buttocks numb. It must have a seat height adjuster too. Plus the cushion is lousy too. I have the 3 gen taco with the electric seat. I’m also 5’9 (1/2) 165. My lack of comfort is not the seat angle or lack of contour in the foam padding. The problem is that the seat is just too short and the underside of my knees are hanging in the air. I bought the truck 2 yrs ago expecting to sell my 1st gen tundra. The 20 year old seats are a dream and if I could swap them in I would. I barely drive the taco. Doh!

I love my new trucks seat, I have the power seat on the driver side, I enjoy it! Its manual on the passenger side, but never got any complaints about that ither. I'm 5'10" and my mom is 5'4", we are both comfortable sitting in the truck.

I have a 2020 with the power seats. I’ve driven cross country twice and have found them very comfortable. I agree on the seat memory buttons. I think Toyota overall has pretty good seats. I bought a Corolla and drove it from Cali to the Midwest. I was surprised how comfortable this little car was.

I have a 2022 TRD OR premium with leather interior. I felt like even with the electric seats I had 0 leg support. I was on a 3 hour drive and my lower back was so bad afterwards. Im 5' 8" about 140 and I added the front seat jackers. Gave me more of a bucket seat feel and more leg support as opposed to all the force going into my back. Only issue with the seat jackers is bumping my knees into the steering wheel and or the switch panel near the left knee. If I move the seat back I feel too far away. Only complaint.

They should put electric seat on passenger side also. They should also made homelink standard for the garage door. Limited’s have that feature. My seat is comfortable to me. A little more padding on bottom cushion would not hurt though!

It didn't give me enough support under my legs so my right ankle would lock up. I added the 1 1/4 inch front lift and that helped. Also,. I wish the center console was about two inches taller.

I have a 2021 Trd off-road with all the options, and I can tell you that the seat angle and steering wheel angles suck if you’re 6’ 1” and have a 34 inch inseam. Not only are the angles bad, but the power mechanisms in the driver seat are sloppy, and allow the seat to move and wiggle around as you drive and take bumps. Additionally, the steering wheel does not telescope out enough for us taller drivers. I’ve tried to remedy the seat angle issue by using aftermarket seat, Jackers to push the front of the seat about an inch higher. This helps, but still doesn’t solve the problem with the power mechanism sloppiness, and the steering wheel, not coming out as far as it needs to be so that I can get my knees up under the steering wheel comfortably when entering and exiting. Toyota really needs to address the issue with the power seat mechanisms. I think they’re all faulty.

I have the electric seats. It took me a while to get it adjusted right or for me to get use to it but I’m very comfortable now. I’d kill for a memory seat. I’m 5’11” with a 32” inseam. No problem with the distance to the steering wheel either. 🍻

I put the seat mod in the rear of drivers and passenger seats it helps alot. The difficulty I find is getting in and out of the truck, for people 6''0 or taller. The tilt steering wheel needs to go higher. I adjust around it. Also, the first mod is to get AGM Battery. The OEM battery will leach out sulfuric acid. It's an old design when they had nothing better. It will destroy your terminals, cables and hold down bracket. The corrosion is like cancer, it will not stop till you get a sealed Battery.

2022 Tacoma TRD Off Road 10 way power driver's seat. I'm 6'0" and wish I could lower the seat more to help with getting in & out of the truck. The seat bottom doesn't seem like it's leather either. More like rubber material. Not comfortable with long drives either.

My friend had a 2021 Tacoma and traded up for a 2023, both with manual seats. I'm a 5'6" driver, and I can't see over the hood in either truck, and hate the seating position because I feel like my legs are out in front of me like I'm riding a gaited horse.

I miss the comfort of my Durango it by far has been the most comfortable vehicle I have ever had and know that Japanese/korean made vehicles aren't as comfortable seats aren't as spacious or thick but we all make concessions to what we can afford.

I have no problem with the 10 way electric seat, but maybe it has to do with height or weight. If you want uncomfortable drive the first gen Tacoma. Oh boy was that a pain. I test drove one way back when and passed on it and a few years later got a Ranger. That was very comfortable compared to the Tacoma. I was happy with the 2022 Tacoma though.

I’m 6ft 1 leg length is 32. Just bought a 2023 off road. I am so uncomfortable in it. Mainly my right leg for whatever reason. I’m constantly adjusting the power seats. Nothing seems to help. I did try the front seat jackets but found it difficult to get in and out of the truck as it pushed my legs up too close to the steering wheel. Anyone have any suggestions? Love the truck just hate sitting in it.

I have noticed that the seats seem like they are almost not deep enough. The bottom cushion from the front of it to the back of it seems short.

You want uncomfortable. Try any military vehicle. From the Hummer to a deuce, and you will appreciate the Taco seats. Same holds true for planes such as the C-5 or medivac (nightingale).

Mine has the electric seat. It sucks, it is the seating position. It sits like a car. And my wife drives it, takes forever to get back. If I put it high enough, my head hits the roof. I'm 6' with a 32" inseam, that is probably the issue. In my big truck when I start it and it goes to the memory I have set to my key.

No electric seat, no seat jackers due to the price. I did put some nice seat covers in. I don't feel any discomfort because of the seat. I fall asleep in my recliner all the time because it's comfortable so why in the world would I want my truck seat so comfortable that I might risk falling asleep on long trips. You can please some of the people some of the time but not all people all of the time. It's a truck, if you don't like the seat stay home.

For starters the clearance underneath for amps is minimal which needs spacers - not good. Agree about the intro - you can do much better with how long you've been YTing.

I have a 2023 TRD Offroad, power drivers seat. Leather. By far, the worst seats I have ever had in any vehicle. Basically no bolster to speak of so going around any type of turn you have no support. Offroad, its even worse especially for the passenger who has nothing to hang on to. The positioning of the seat is also wrong, and should be much closer to the floor, with the ability to raise it up. The worst part though, is that the seat base or butt portion of the seat simply isn't long enough. Im only 5'8", and there is no support under my knees or thigh. I feel like I'm sitting on a park bench, and because of this Im forced to hold myself back in the seat by maintaining constant pressure on the floor board, even with the seat rocked all the way back. The passenger seat being non adjustable is literally unuseable. When you add in the fact that the engine is weak, inefficient and sluggish, the transmission is a joke, and the infotainment and camera system are worse than most cars from 2001, I'll probably be trading it in for a loss on a GMC canyon, or Frontier. Full size trucks won't fit in my garage. If you are considering one of these, make sure you test drive it thoroughly folks.
