I always struggled to answer this question for interviews until one company had me take a Kolbe test as a part of the interview process, and that showed me clearly what my weakness is, so now I know exactly what to say! I am a 7733 on the Kolbe scale, which means I'm really really good at creating systems and strategies and planning, but I am NOT the person you want to give a last-minute project to that has to get done right now for which there is no system yet in place for. I do not do well flying by the seat of my pants. I have to think things through. Great video!

I find this question to be breaking the social contract. It’s a vicious attempt at weaseling out weaknesses to use at a later date. It signals a toxic workplace to be avoided. Can you tell I’ve been bullied for years at work? I’m never going to allow myself to be bullied again. This question ends the interview. I‘m a person that has given 110%. But not to people like these.

I'm having a meeting at a rehab tomorrow about doing a student placement there. Highly unlikely they'll ask me this but, it got me thinking, just in case... Thanks for the tip about mentioning the learning from the example experience 🙂

My greatest weakness is I always believe I'll never be cheated by any means, by any person because my belief in something or or someone is so rock solid that I identify myself with anyone or anything I have a firm conviction about them and mostly I got disillusioned with my own system of getting along with situations formed in my mind like a flash point which I don't have to try to calculate it before the spark time to form those opinions and the worst part is it seeps so deep into my mind that it's takes a whale of time to recover from the negatives! And as this has been a regular phenomena I fear that I'll be wrong what I'm vying for! 😮😮

My greatest weakness is not always able to answer certain questions to clients at my job, I'm working on improving that area. I have a question about an expression, when someone responds with "hmm" in a quick and rude way, what does that mean?

Thank you for sharing yours! To answer your question: When someone responds with a quick and rude “hmm”, it can indicate a few things. They might be disinterested or dismissive of what you’re saying. It could also be a sign of impatience or irritation. However, it’s important to consider the overall context, including the person’s tone of voice, facial expression, and body language, as well as the situation at hand.

Hi! Great question: I would say one of the best ways to practice is to observe people in real life situations. This could be in a public place like a park or a cafe, where you can watch people’s interactions. If you need some more info on how to read body language and cues, I'll link some of my resources below! www.scienceofpeople.com/body-language-101/ www.scienceofpeople.com/cues/ kzbin.info/www/bejne/m4DSdJhpdtNnjKc&ab_channel=ScienceofPeople
