I'm 57 years old. I've not met a pastor in the past 30 years that could tell me how to start a ministry. The closest one came to giving me advice was: "go out and sow seed and bring back the fruit." That statement is solid and straight to the point if you have land you can plow and plant seed on. It tells one absolutely nothing about starting a ministry. There is absolutely no guidance in that statement. But I'm sure that the Associate pastor that spoke it to me patted himself on the back for giving me "wise council."

Totally agree with this list and the truth that almost everything here except the last item is learned elsewhere. In fact, I think that’s where internships should be the grounds for learning this stuff.

Amazing insight. Definitely agree that all those things are important and need to be learned outside of seminary. Also, a quick note to the camera operator... this link my come in handy: kzbin.info/www/bejne/b3-6cpaBYtyAbpI Not trying to be snarky, just another video creator trying to be helpful! Love these videos, please keep putting them out.
