7 years carnivore, went from almost dead to almost healthy, so far. Had heart valve stick open. Flooded my lungs, over flowed into abdomen, over flowed into lower extremities. Staggered into ER with BP 283/175 O2 sat 47. Body consumed muscle mass, calcium depleted causing tooth loss, stored 100 lbs water weight, body stored 200 lbs fat. Now, water weight normal, bp normal,calcium levels normal, blood work in normal levels, lost 100 lbs fat and still dropping. Getting there!

@@EriPages Most of the time I eat three eggs, two 4 oz hamburger patties, three slices of ham, two pieces of bacon, and two tablespoons of butter. Recently I've upped it to four eggs and another half patty of hamburger. A few times a month, I'll eat 1.5 pounds of Italian sausage, three eggs, three slices of ham, and two tablespoons of butter. I don't vary much. Every once in a great while I'll get steak or London broil when I find a deal. I eat two meals a day. I'm hoping that gives me enough protein (~175 grams) and fat to add muscle.

Hi Linda and Dr Shawn… Papacarnivore here. Coming up on 2 yrs Carnivore and at 62 1/2, I haven’t felt or looked this great since I was in my early 20’s!! I’m not only down 101 lbs (300 to now 199 lbs) and have dropped 6 pants sizes (from 44 to now 34!!)… I’ve also reversed/cured T2 diabetes, high BP, fatty liver disease, IBS, acid reflux, chronic arthritis, fatigue, brain fog, migraines, sleep apnea, bipolar depression, anxiety, ADHD, and a ton more stuff… too long to list and I’m OFF ALL MEDS!! I’m now Happy, Healthy and Hopeful (“The 3 H’s of a Proper Human Diet”), and I’m loving this incredible way of eating and living. I sincerely hope that more people will make the decision to change their way of eating in 2025 to carnivore or ketovore and improve their physical and/or mental health. 😀🥩🥩🥩🥩🍖🍗🐮🐷🐓👍👍👍

she's to qualified in the area of lipidema. she has zero qualifications in health. that theory doesn't hold water when you look at countries where they eat a a lot of plants with oxalates and don't have higher rates. its genetic. there is no plausible pathway that oxalates would influence the lymph system. "Leukotriene B4 has recently been identified as a key molecule in lymphedema pathogenesis - insulin. not oxalates. not everyone who eats oxalates gets kidney stones either - it depends on balance.... and disorders and genetics.

I been carnivore some 400 days and look forward to many more. Thank you for this interview I liked that she gave her opinions on things and appreciated her laid back approach. I eat grass fed beef from local farmers. So I support my local farmers who are doing their best to be responsible. I did this before I was carnivore. I do it because I don’t like the living conditions of most grain feed beef in the US. It seems people always talk about coming from the SAD diet to carnivore. Some of us come from better diets than that. I wasn’t perfect just like I’m not trying to be the perfect carnivore. I like to support food producers who are conscience about what they are bringing to market. I stopped going to doctors like 20 years ago. The idea of taking a drug to counteract the effect of a drug is insanity to me. I don’t blindly follow anyone and I especially don’t follow people who claim they cannot be questioned. I agree people should do what works for them. I’m no carnivore police. I eat liver about once or twice a month I like the taste and I think it is very nutrient dense, (I cook it). I think it’s important to educate ourselves and take dominion over our heath.

I think every individual is different so we all have to find the best way by experimenting on ourselves. I have been about 95% Carnivore since October of 2018 but having 5% carbs was not optimal for my goals of weight loss and feeling my best. I healed a lot of health problems eating this way, but now I seriously want to go 100% Carnivore combined with fasting to get the weight loss I have not been able to achieve for more than six years eating almost carnivore. Beef gives me diarrhea so I have found I can not go on the lion diet that I tried many times, so I must include some eggs, chicken, pork and seafood as well as the beef and lamb. I can not eat dairy as it gives me deep depression quite quickly if I eat cheese or yoghurt or cream.

I had the same issue, and it was due to coffee. I think once your body clears out the effects of all other plant toxins, coffee happened to be the last one quietly rattling around; I think your body's able to "hear" it now since the other plants causing chaos are absent. Coffee is hard to wean from, especially socially when we've proudly become a caffeine-laden society. I drink bone broth with plain electrolytes when I want something warm, otherwise it's water for me.

I love this so much, and yet I am utterly repulsed with the growing obsession over time to demand that people not care about or discuss, or even recognize their own experience, feeling better on grassfed. It's full of poor reasoning and logical fallacy. The cultlike obsession to do those mental gymnastics, and those guilt trips is ugly. We are not losing ranchers because of the grassfed movement. We are losing ranchers year after year after year due to the failures and the corruptions that come from politics and from the big ag y'all want us to suport instead. Ugly. Not everyone buys from overseas. Some of us spent over 15 years pouring money and tremendous effort into the know-your-farmer model of supporting better American farming. The implication that we are destroying the planet if we buy from overseas when what we are really doing is trying to survive an evil economy AND demonstrating the demand that we want and need better, healthier farming practices! Your fight against that is wrong and it is UGLY. None of my well loved farmers have gone under and quit farming from me having to buy differently in the last four years. They are all making more money than ever from people who have more to give them than I do right now. And I'm glad for them. In addition i have 20 years of experience helping and supporting adn getting new farmers into farming and making it work for themselves and thwir families despite the monolithic and powerful system you are trying to force on me running ranchers and every kind of mid size or smaller farmer out of business at an alarming rate while also killing lots of really big operations too. Who is that's causing their to not be food farmed in America?! The answer is the opposite from the amswer you keep pushing! Your obsession with making sure that the less optimal way of farming gets the business instead might very well have a negative long term impact on the American food and farming economy and whether or not there is meat enough to go around for those of us who are just working as hard and as smart as we can year after year, in a world that wants to kill us. Once upon a time, the current wisdom of what was well understood, said that meat was something that we all need less of and that it is generally bad for us. Now there is a movement going in a direction that says the opposite and is seeking ways to create data to know for sure. There is also a movement to fix many things that are wrong with conventional farming and to create studies and generate reliable data on that. There is no reason why those two movements have to be at war with each other. That is a choice you are making to wage war. And you are wrong. If she hates grassfed or hates better farming practices or people who feel significantly better on grassfed... bully for her. If you hate those things, bully for you. But you are dead wrong about your fallacies and your campaign to make everyone agree that there is no difference and no need and no reason. Why do 99% of carnivore channels pretend that the large numbers of people who don't heal from just carnivore don't even exist? That's some crazy level of something is wrong when reality has to be denied. Why do y'all campaign against letting people find a path to health if their story doesn't fit into the all meat is magical paradigm? And as long as I'm speaking on such a personal level, let me add that I am never going to eat salmon. Her trite little "just eat fish" is wrong. I am partial to being able to breathe, and if I ate any boney fish, I'd go into anaphylactic shock. I am far from the only person who cannot eat seafood. You both need to get a grip on why you are policing this issue of people are allowed to prefer or need or choose grassfed... OR BE A PART OF THE PUBLIC DISCOURSE with our point of view and our experience that you hate so much.

@wocket4211 күн бұрын
There seems to be no data to suggest it's needed when you don't eat plants and do eat lots of meat. There is enough "vitamin C" and DHAA in meat. Vitamin C is an anti oxidative, but it can be easily recycles if you have enough glutathione, which you do have on carnivore. And obviously burning ketones produces less ROS than glucose, so you need fewer anti oxidants anyway. Too much vit c may get you into oxalate problems.
