Hey doc! I work in large animal toxicology at a diagnostic lab. The compound you were looking for @33:47 was zearalenone. It's a mycotoxin found in grains!

Great conversation, Dale. Thanks for bringing it to us. My carnivore/diet journey has mirrored yours. I grew up in the Panhandle farming and ranching with a little feedlot work thrown in. I was keto for a few years, then carnivore for a year, and the past couple in months have been adding back some berries and avocado and such. Still mostly eat beef, elk and deer with no plans of ever changing that. (I’ll be hunting elk near Clarendon in 2 weeks.) I’m 58 and back to the same size I was in college and feeling great. Keep it up, brother!

I’ve been interested in healing hormones/fertility/energy through food over the last year. This is eye opening and now I want to research everything hahah

Paul is awesome! The study about fruit loops cereal versus beef is nothing but a Money scheme no different than big pharma and still no different than Mtn Ops and Ranch fuel paying you for promoting sales which neither sponsor was mentioned “by name anyway” in this episode 😉 keep up the good work though Dale.
Here is Dr. Paul Saladino's documentary on seed oils kzbin.info/www/bejne/rJTFdaCBm75op6c&pp=ygUJZmVkIGEgbGll It is called Fed A Lie, on his Heart and Soil channel

Would love to tell him how much more land a grass fed cow takes opposed to a grain finished one… and that all cows are grass fed, and they are fed grains for a very short time

Being told LDLs are bad for us is the equivalent of someone telling me they are allergic to salt.

@@alexandreahamilton2810 Yes, personally eating butter gave me my libido back. My anecdote proves that cholesterol is the chemical precursor to all hormones.

Wood doesn’t cause fire an igniter does. So basically LDL is good until it’s triggered with the bad then the levels raise.

It depends, you have to buy your meat from a farmer you trust. Regenerative agriculture doesn't use chemicals
