Love all this info! Starting small with ebay but I'm always looking for ways to go bigger, so this info is so great! Also, I found a great option for packing material in my area. Our area newspaper is printed locally, and they always have huge rolls of blank newsprint from the end of a printing run, and they sell those rolls for $5!! So helpful and such a good deal. I even use it for art paper for the kiddos.

Love your videos. You are very thorough and entertaining. I find I have to sell so inexpensively that between all the materials, shipping, tracking inventory, photographing, listing, cleaning and repair, sorting, sourcing, time, and energy I probably make next to nothing. Just starting though with a big learning curve. I still haven't found a good storage system yet for me. It is a lot of work!

Love your videos! . . . For Amazon FBA shipments I haven't needed a scanner. I use my phone to scan the barcodes and put items in my inventory. Then I use my laptop for the rest of the process. . . . Maybe it would be faster with the Ruben (sp?) scanner? I've done fewer than 10 FBA shipments so IDK.

I use Dymo 450 Turbo with 2x7 labels for eBay and the Dymo 4XL with 4x6 labels for Amazon... Weird? Maybe, but that works out really well. The 2x7 labels are much cheaper, but Amazon doesn’t format to that size... and that’s only reason I use the 4x6 for them.

I use my regular printer to print my labels and use an adhesive label paper (sold on amazon) to print them on. Every sheets fits two Ebay labels. There’s no waste and I find this to be cheaper than the special label printer. Just my 2 cents.

The good till's cancelled doenst affect your Ebay fees. Ebay fees consist of just your final value fee (the commission that Ebay takes when something sells) and your listing fee (if you dont have a store). The most confusing part for new sellers is that Ebay doesnt automatically take these fees out of your account. They pay you for ymthe whole sale and you have to manually go to your Ebay account and pay them.

Hiya, fab info! I have to look into maybe an app for scanning barcodes as I resell a specific niche of books/ music that don’t do well on amazon but do elsewhere (such as the well-known auction houses as we’re talking 3-5 figures per😃!) That Bo-Nash stuff looks very interesting, might give it a try with a few of my personal vintage pieces that have gotten tiny holes, thanks! Please don’t take this wrong as I’m not picking on you, just pointing out a boo-boo (we all make them, I’m notorious for mine😆), it’s “balsam” (ball-some) not “basalm” (“bay-some”) spelled incorrectly in description box. It’s a type of balm not unique to DM’s, many co’s make balsam’s usually for this purpose or medicinal, I hope that helps! Have a lovely weekend! Jet 🧡🎸🎶⚡️

Question? How are you fitting 3 bins per shelf? The 6 tier shelf is 48wide to the outside past the side bars. 3 - 16in bins is already 48in. Are you sure you have the correct bins on your link?

I realize different labels would be required for an inkjet printer, but that’s all I have. Don’t have a laser printer. Does Amazon require that for scanning purposes or something? This is my first time watching this video and it really helps, especially since I'm a chicken to get started. I just wondered, what about when you want to go on vacation with your family? or your'e somewhere far from your merchandise? and an order comes through for shipping right away, how does that work?

I learned this the hard way, had to do some searching. If you dont own a store with ebay then you have to take down your items until you are back. But they will still be in the "unsold" part if it's not over 3 weeks(that's how long I was gone, dunno how much longer it is). Anyway, then you can click on them and relist when you are back, and it just copies the original listing. If you are paying for a store then you can have one of those notices saying that seller is away and the mailing will be delayed. I am unsure of Amazon, but I'm supposing with the deal where you send it to them they will ship it out for you when you get a sale.

Hi, I have a question about the KDC scanner. I know a lot of people use it with the paid monthly service for Amazon. I am not to that point yet. I scan a lot of barcodes mainly discontinued beauty. Would this scanner allow me to scan and open in the eBay app or Amazon app so I can check comps? I have a iPhone and I do this through both of the apps but it takes forever & kills my battery. That will be more expensive as Ebay provides a discount. Also, a company called Pirateship also provides a discount. Play around with shipping/packaging options before listing so you know approximately how much to expect in shipping expense so that you can take it into consideration in your pricing. I’m a beginner also. Just selling some things I have around the house.
