In this video, we explore the various types of symptoms the nervous system can cause, particularly in those dealing with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS). From brain fog and dizziness to pain and fatigue, the nervous system plays a major role in how we experience and manage symptoms.
We break down the connection between CFS and the nervous system, explaining why certain symptoms, like sensitivity to light or noise, muscle pain, and sleep disturbances, occur. Understanding the role of the nervous system in CFS can empower you to better manage these symptoms and make informed decisions about your recovery.
Tune in to gain a clearer understanding of how the nervous system impacts your body and learn strategies to help support its healing during your recovery journey.

Thanks Junior!! I definitely had most of these and more too. Wild! After getting checked out a few times, ultrasounds, bloodwork, the ER as well. And finding nothing significant, I knew this was more of a brain/NS thing. Being in the CFS recovery program helped me feel safe and comforted because I wasn't alone with all these weird and uncomfortable, sometimes excruciatingly painful symptoms. The reassurance from the coaches made all the difference when the brain fog and memory loss would appear in APs (adjustment periods). So grateful for you all! Hugs!!

OMG. I had to comment, at 7:40 - the flutter followed by cough, scared the CRAP out of me. I had seen 2 cardiologists, so I knew my heart over all was solid, but man that one always made me feel uneasy. You are the FIRST person I've heard mention that.

Omg junior. You have described all my symptoms. I am glad that 70% of them are gone. I am now struggling with lazy and wobbly legs. I have gone to my doctor she looks at me and just give me a big stare. Like I am crazy cos she can’t find anything and sometimes I get to the doctor and I become muted I don’t know how to explain.

I've had the fatigue specific to the legs--luckily that one went away, I don't know how really. A couple others that I have that I hadn't heard a ton about others experiencing is the joint cracking--I have that all over--& vision stuff. Anyway, thanks for sharing man! Definitely comforting to know we're not alone!

does anyone constantly wake up feeling feverish that becomes worse at evenings then better at nights

Is it also common to feel extremely dizzy or "drunk" on a daily basis? Like if life wasn't real and you're in a dream and can't wake up.. I always feel like somebody has poisoned me, it's so unpleasant. I get that with pressure headaches too (and around 50+ other symptoms..a lot of what you described)

@mirjamrettig1977 I have dizziness a lot too!.. it's worse when I'm more tired/done too much, it's less when I've rested more and start feeling better overall, but it's always there a little bit..

Yes I have been dizzy for sometimes but it has been gone. The other feeling you mentioned is depersonalization pretty scary but it will go away. We will get completely well others have.

This is very common, nothing to worry about. It's one of those many symptoms that you throw under the umbrella of "hypersensitive nervous system issue" As long as you don't mentally panic it'll just go away and pop up here and there. I also cough when my heart skips beats. Seems to "reset" the beat to normal. One of my weirder symptoms is walking into doorways and the edge of counters as my proprioception is off.

I really think the cfs chest pain comes from sleep quality, poor sleep quality or lack of sleep causes ur nervous system to go sensitive, as long as you don’t push ur self on bad sleep days you can balance it out.
