Because I am older and would appreciate seeing the pictures more at my age. Actually Ken Johnson has great teaching on youtube and books about the Dead Sea Scrolls. They contain much information about the 400 silent years between the Old and New Testiments. John the Baptist was probably an Essene and they were probably the first to believe in Jesus as the Messiah. You should check these out for education purposes. @@bdawg-qj9bq

bruh it was so hard to watch this documentary. the first 30 mins is "anyone could have written these scrolls, it's historically inaccurate because *insert trust me bro source*" and then they legit spent another 30 mins citing random people over time who have been observing the qumran bones. like bruhhhhh... extremely cringey. The worst part about it all is how they denigrated the essenes. As if that Jewish sect hasn't existed since Abraham, as if that Jewish sect was violent towards muslims and romans, as if their ideaology wasn't oppressed by pharisees. We're talking about the true Jews here, God's true chosen people, that have been targeted by all nations, that fought against the Amalakites, the Ammorites, the Phillistines, The rephaim Giants like og who they drove into bashan, The anakim etc etc. Instead of being revered, this satanic inspired document driven by catholic interest decides to treat them like unaccredited group of anarchist crazy people full of end of the world prophecy. The essene line witnessed many passovers that caused many cataclysmic events and accredited those to God and the prophecies of God's wrath we see in the bible time and time again and that the next passover will be God's final judgement on the world aka the last days of which they wrote before Jesus came to warn us about hell and sin and died for us to be saved from that final judgement. God showed John the last days John gave us revelations, wormwood being one of the many asteroids that will cause the apocalypse from the red dragon aka nibiru passover. HECK even isaiah wrote about the same passover in the same exact ramifications we see in revelations. How the earth will sway like a drunkard from the magnetic distortion of its close-by passover. Sorry about the rant it just blows my mind how 75% of all observatories shut down in 2016-2018 and then the vatican built lucifer telescope when we had eyes on the dwarf star heading into our solar system and how we never heard from those astrophysicists after that and then the global hurry for every single country building mass amounts of deep underground bunkers and tricking people into believing that it's from the rising tensions between Russia and U.S sanctions, China and taiwan etc as if those tensions weren't at their highest 50 years ago and they decided now to build the bunkers on a massive scale. SMH man. It hurts to see humanity in such a nullified state and living in such denial.

Ancient writings on animal skins, that is to say vellum, can be examined to see if there were earlier writings that had been scraped off, hence the name 'Palimpsest' from the Greek for 'rescraping,' I believe, (and I'm wide open to correction on this if I don't have it right). My question is this: Were scrolls or other papyri ever erased or 'rescraped' in order to be reused and if so, are x-ray examinations performed on old papyrus documents in order to read what was previously written on the material?

I have wonder if the little boys family (who were poor)were ever given credit for finding the Scrolls?
@Paparoxx
@Paparoxx 5 ай бұрын
No And the details are" sweetened". Some of the scrolls were burned for cooking. Plus the boy was a shepherd "looking for strays", not stinking around in the desert. It was common to toss stones in the many caves to get strays out. He heard the jar break then went in to " see" what it was, he was not stumbling around throwing rocks. When one is " looking for",& FINDS something, that is not stumbling. What would archeological "discoveries" be without all his "stumbling into?"

Jesus was a member of the Essene community in Qumran. Dolores Cannon and many others speak of this. The Books of Thomas and Mary Magdalene were part of these writings, the Gnostic Gospels that were not included in the current Bible which was edited out by Constantine when he "converted" to Christianity and didn't want the common people to understand how powerful they are as divine Children of God.

"They took the revolt against the Romans too seriously. They believed this was the apocalyptic war they were expecting". They were all killed in the battle. Sounds to me like they were correct. Not so sure they accurately predicted the winner.
@natem1982
@natem1982 5 ай бұрын
they weren't all killed in this battle. whilst it is easy to see that they probably did see it as the final apocalypse prophecy because they only had Isaiah's word and not the book of revelations and were all slaughtered, when Jesus arrived it stirred up the Jewish pharisees so much because after finally watching the destruction of the essenes they now had to deal with Messianic Jews being converted by Christ preaching and his followers everyday into the thousands, having people come from other nations to see the messiah aswell just created a whole new movement of essenes. In response to this, Pharisees allowed rome to tighten their grip on the city, with Nero slaughtering every single Jew that followed Christ allowing the ungodly jews to be enslaved. It definitely would have been a much bigger sign of apocalypse to see Jesus and Nero if the essenes survived to witness it that's for sure. Luckily for us, because of Jesus and God we have bestowed on us a much more accurate end times prophecy in the book of revelations. Seems as God will never leave us in confusion and empty handed when the enemy tries to commit genocide on the only voice of his people like we seen with the essenes.

@@marcgottlieb9579 i think it's inaccurate to say that "early christians" were gnostic. Christianity has always been (since the fall of man in the garden) a salvation based group believing in the coming seed of man who will redeem us from this fallen world. Gnosticism does indeed pre-date what we call Modern christianity but it is not the same gnosticism we see today in the newage movement that casts the demiurge as being the God from the bible and satan and his rebels (the elohim) being the saviour, it's the other way around. Jonathan Kleck does extremely well at exposing this. For instance, before you had "Gnosticism" you had "Zoroastrianism" which is essentially the same core beliefs although zoroastrianism had a more proactive religious approach that we see in christianity today, such as; Do good works, Speak no evil, Be holy etc. Unfortunately Zoroastrianism was corrupted and hijacked from being monotheistic into acknowledging and even worshipping other diety figures for blessings by mystic cults such as babylon, egypt, ancient greek etc. The same exact thing we are seeing happen in the Gnostic movement today. But i definitely agree with your observations of the red dragon in the skies. 75% of observatories shut down between 2016-2018, Mainstream media, background media like youtube propaganda channels, twitter, ig propaganda channels stopped talking about "Nibiru" even though there is photographic evidence for its existence. Global scale of Military construction of deep underground bunkers all over the world to "prepare for WW3 during rising tensions" even though tensions today between nations and people are much lower than they were during WW2, The cold war and pretty much anything beyond 30 years ago.

He grew up, grew old and eventually died. He put his faith in Allah aka Yaweh, and for the Christians Jehovah, three religions for the price of one god eh. Christianity though is the best con job performed by the Jews on the "gentiles" it is the gift that keeps on giving to them. To be fair though it would be nothing without the bolstering by the Catholic and orthodox churches and multitudes of Christian spin offs who have been coining it in since the death of JC.

An said Asher was a quazi-unknown God of Creation. Considering that Christ had respect for Socrates, thus showing intense education, it's not a far throw to state that Christ may have viewed Asher as His Father? Extremely well done. Christ said nothing would be hidden thus implying rampant lies in the end.

I know this is an oversimplification, but all I heard about the men who hid the dead sea scrolls were obscessed with ritual purity to a point of extremism and they were also obsessed with war.

Consider that the Pharisees pushed the ritualized, and ancestral purity elements of their ancestral religious heritage, whereas the Sadducees pushed the militaristic agenda of the ancestral identity. Now consider the role of the Essenes whose oral traditions transmitted a precept of a spiritual foundation upon which the laws of Moses had carried their identity as a people through many tribulations of civil war, famines, plagues, and foreign occupations.
