Gurudev, the Wikipedia says about you: "From around the mid 1970s, he worked as an apprentice under Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, the founder of Transcendental Meditation. ..." Please may I ask you a question. I am consulting, in parallel, several translations of the Bhagvad Gita in English, The most appealing to me is the translation by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi . (Also very good is by R.C. Zaehner). I say this not from the linguistic point of view (I am not a sanskrit scholar) but (I am aware that this sounds somewhat eccentric) on how the AURA of each translation affects me. Mahesh Marharishi's one is firm, hard as diamond, unwavering, charged - yet does not dive into ideologically by-paths as for example the translation by "His Divine Grace" Swami Bhaktivedanta. ( But, strangely, ONLY THE FIRST 6 CHAPTERS (with commentaries) of the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's translation exist although it was released in 1967 ! My question to you is: Why is it that this best of translations is available only for the first 6 of the 18 chapters ? I once read have a few sentences on the net about some problems with those other missing chapters but I didnt understand what they were. The implication was that the translated chapters do exist. Also I would like to ask you a personally sensitive question on one or two verses. May I write to you directly and to what e-mail ? Thank you for appearing on this site. Arjuna J. (my pseudonym)
