I think Ferrari is the problem. Look at some of their drivers in the last decade. Many of them left the team basically broken and empty. It's not happening anything with him. When the car is not where it should be and the team doesn't help him at all(bad strategies, heaps of reliability issues, poor communication during the race by his race engineer), he has to give 101% and drive over the limit to compensate. When someone gives 101%, mistakes always appear

This. Charles is trying to compensate for a "slow" car and "bad" team. This leads him to overdrive the car and sometimes binning it. When Ferrari gives him a good car and good strategy he drives near perfect races, like Bahrain, Australia, and Austria last year.

Ugh, I dislike when people are trying to put all the blame on Ferrari. Yes they are not ideal, but Leclelrc himself has also been not great at all. When we look at actual champions like Lewis or Max - in their winning seasons they always near-ideal, maximum making one bad race during whole season. Even when we take Ferrari's best form - start of 2022 - Leclerc still was losing races due to his own deeds - like in Saudi Arabia or France. And these were races where Ferrari were either on the same pace or faster than RedBull. Leclerc is fast, not denying that, but he is too inconsistent. He either needs to fix that or hope that the car will be so dominant, that his inconsistencies would still allow him to become champion.

I feel it would be wrong to say that Fernando, Max and Hamilton also don't drive at 101% sometimes. Look at Max's quali in Monaco this season and tell me he was not driving over the limit. Fernando has been driving underperforming cars to places where they shouldn't be his whole career. Leclerc is an amazing driver, and Ferrari has let him down, but ultimately he still has some maturing to do.

I honestly think Ferrari is the problem. He was very confident and now I don't see him like that anymore, plus Carlos is not a good teammate, so that makes things even worse. He looks soft, insecure, 'too nice' instead of being more aggressive like Max is for example. We all have setbacks, but we also have comebacks. Charles is the only reason I still pay attention to Ferrari, but I have to say that I don't have a favorite team per se anymore. I support Max, Lando and Charles, and I hope he gets his comeback, he deserves it.

But id also say he lacks the ruthlessness thsts needed for one to be an F1 champ. He doesnt command the team to do his bidding. This is his 5th year and he still doesnt dictate terms to the team. Too much of a nice guy and unless everything falls in place, he'll not win. I doubt if he will ever be champ unless he gets a dominant car and strategy like RedBull or Mercedes. ferrari is a very particular team. It is a dream as much of a curse to any driver. If you are not able to win straight away with this team, the longer you stay there the harder it gets. We have seen this with a lot of drivers through the years. Charles is a top driver, but young as he is, i would advise him to go to aston or mercedes. Even though winning once with Ferrari would be mean so much more than win twice with any other team, he need to go. Go to a team that can nurture his talent, and not stay and steer a team like ferrari

Hard to tell if he's just as good given how bad, or at least inconsistent, the Ferrari is this season and most of last. He's definitely not better though. Max has been in incredible form over the last few years. Charles does need to get some of that rebellious spirit from Carlos though. His nice guy/trust the team attitude has cost him a lot in 2022. Interestingly, in Drive to Survive, they asked both drivers if team orders were open to debate from the drivers. Carlos said absolutely yes. Charles said not at all.

Definitely not better than max, he may be as good but we'll have to see him performing consistently without errors and in a car that doesn't suit his driving style. Ever since he entered F1 the car suited his style, they even went away from Vettel in 2019 after first few races. Sainz almost matching him with a car that's neutral to him speaks bunch about Leclerc. He's good but I definitely wouldn't rate him as high as max.

I dont comment much i just want to say my opinions of him as a big fan. In terms of driving skills, he is on par with Verstappen, Hamilton but the biggest problem is the Ferrari team being fuk ups. Leclerc lacks the leadership skills or put it simply, doesn't whine enough to Ferrari for the team to actually change. In 2022, Spain, Monaco, Silverstone and Hungary were all races where he dominated. Towards the end of 2022, the Redbull was just clearly the faster car. Mistake from him only appeared in 2 GPs and if you check any other drivers, they all make mistake in title fights. Like Hamilton in Imola 2021, Azerbaijan 2021, Verstappen towards end of 2021. Give Leclerc a few years, and switch out the clowns in the red garage and he'll get his title. Only that im afraid such day may never come
