Lando’s crash at Spa in 2021 was when my opinion of Seb went from almost zero to stratospheric, he was the only driver who wanted to make sure Lando was OK and wouldn’t move off until he saw Lando wave to show he was not seriously injured. Had the stewards and race control listened to him about throwing the red flag when the rain came down that hard Lando would have been P1 on the grid as his time was incredible but the crash saw him have to miss the race and Max got to start in P1 then follow the safety car for a couple of laps and “win” I miss Seb being in F1, he was one of the greats just like Max, Lewis and Michael Schumacher.

It's actually Karl Wendlinger who basically had the same crash at the same corner back in 94, only two weeks after Senna and Ratzenberger died. It's been revealed recently that Max is still not completely fine after Silverstone. He still has trouble at some tracks with his vision. That crash was horrible. Lewis got off so lightly. It also took him a full two minutes before he asked if Max was even okay. Protesting his innocence for those two minutes was more important to him. He just put a man in hospital and then went on to celebrate like he'd won the championship. I lost every last shred of respect I had left for Hamilton that day.

As you'd know, the stewarding decisions are not based on the outcome, but rather apportionment of blame. Fernando's crash in Australia covered from practically every angle as he barrel rolled through the air sticks out in my mind. In hindsight, it was watching this corner, knowing Brundle had equally crashed there some years ago, this major crash happens, on tv we're seeing all this dust and debris and not even realizing he was there to begin with, dust clears, and you see this body clamor out of this shred of the survival cell which was all that was basically left of the car. On tv everyone's reacting to the first car, and a split second later, you're realizing Fernando has survived the unthinkable in one piece. He was in an entire car and then just basically popped out of nothing alongside a wall. Didn't think there were any miracles left in F1 until years later, seeing Grosjeans crash where quite literally every single safety feature was tested all at once. What Fernando said later, about needing to jumpout to show his mom he was okay, still resonates in my mind. These guys are someone's kid, brother, husband, father...and we all want them to go home safely. Kudos to all the safety features and all the people who fought even against the drivers wishes to get them bolted to these cars.

you are punished for your actions, never the ultimate outcome. Lewis drifted wide on a first lap incident, clearly unintentional. Yes it lead to a huge crash which is unfortunate and really bad for Max but there's no way Lewis intended or desired that outcome. He made a mistake and the mistake was punished. As for Fernando, if you look at the analysis, he deliberately braked early to unsettle the car behind. He then tried to cover it up by radioing in that "his brakes felt funny" on the back straight whilst pumping the brake pedal randomly at speed: he knew he had done wrong, maybe didn't mean to make George crash, but definitely tried to put take him off guard by driving erratically. This is an intentional action which is dangerous. TLDR: Lewis made a mistake which led to nasty consequences. Fernando deliberately tried to unsettle the car behind.

You should do a video about how bad Sargeant was. Even as an American, I'm glad he's gone. As a side note, I've been playing F1 Manager 2024, and I'd say they represented Logan well. He has a bad habit of crashing into other drivers, especially mine. One race, Lawson tried to pass Sargeant on the outside twice in the same race, at two separate points. Both times, Sargeant locked up and crashed into Lawson, the second time he took both himself and Lawson out of the race.

Idk but Max earned that 2021 title like a champ. Ham just lost the title but Max almost lost his life. You may claim whatever you want about Abu Dhabi but 10 seconds penalty for almost killing someone is even worse. It was karma, an eye for an eye, divine judgement or whatever you want to call it.

The incident between Verstappen and Hamilton at Silverstone wasn’t merely a crash; it’s more accurately described as a serious attemptemped murder. Not to mention the distasteful celebration after Hamilton’s utterly undeserved victory.

Suggestion: when editing crashes, please show longer angles from outside the car. You tend to favor the onboard cameras, which are impressive, but aren't very good to show what actually happened, the path of the cars, what caused the collisions, etc.

Gilles Villeneuve crash at Imola 1980, giving his name 'to that corner' which would later claim the life of Roland Ratzenberger in 1994 on the same corner. Mark Webber at Valencia in 2010 being launched upside down. Ricardo Patrese at Estoril 1992 again being launched skywards off the back of Berger's McLaren. But the most horrific crash with terrible leg injuries are that of Martin Donnelly at Jerez 1990. The images of his mangled legs lying in the middle of the track still vivid in my mind.
@juchetony19107 күн бұрын
in the Jochen Rindt crash, you can see his legs through the wrecked cockpit as he spins off the track towards the camera.

Russel is a driver who manages to crash out on his own accord and blames it on the others. Infact Merc tried to get into the Guinness book of world records for the fastest Wax Puppet but got rejected when Guiness found out that Russel is only 40% wax. Now they're trying to snatch the Fastest dick record from Joey Logano
