One of the worst boxing corners I have ever seen. Tim was allowed to continue fighting with his head split open in the Fundora fight and he was permitted to fight on with obvious concussion in this fight until the fifth knockdown in three rounds. Any trainer and cornermen with their fighter's best interests at heart would have stopped this massacre after the end of the second round.
@multioptionedАй бұрын
The referee could have stopped it sooner too.

If Tim really wants another shot he needs to ditch no limit and move to the states full time
@tomTom-lb5cuАй бұрын
That’s a broken spirit. He’s done. He’s so open for that shot and doesn’t have the chin to withstand it. You really cant believe hype that media builds up. Dad was great and is a legend but this fight just stopped a career. He’ll never get that cocky confidence back. That’s boxing as they say there’s levels to this game. One thing is the gloves better be checked of the opponent cause that was pure destruction.

This is why u dont interview fighters after getting knocked out. Think about it. Dude just got his bell rang and they are expecting him to answer questions

Please go back to being humble and respect your opponents. This was not the Tim we all know, in and out of the ring. This was supposed to be a similar fight to mendoza fro Tim but he somehow misunderstood this fight and thought he was fighting OCampo. I hope he learns from this.
@targaflorio3239Ай бұрын
Covered your father's career. An intelligent and humble fighter. Never threw bombs if he was already given a count and in trouble. Would fight defensively and then wait to nail his opponent. I wish Kostya was training you. That would be an amazing new chapter to your story.
@billwhite9703Ай бұрын
I agree that Tim would benefit fron Kostya's training him @targaflorio3239. But Tim has always resisted Kostya's advice... called him "old school'' and assuned he knows more, while choosing the lame brains he's been working with. I'm pretty sure Tim's days are over. This was a seriously damaging fight. He could have died in the ring.

FFS why are his management putting him through this?
@Jas_01101Ай бұрын
Keep your head up Tim. You are a true warrior. Taking on the best unlike other fighters out there that only cherry pick dudes with 10 fights, put clauses on them and drain them from higher weight classes.

You can say this or that or attack whatever strategy you like but at the end of this day Tim Tszyu was unable to stand before Bakhram for two rounds.

Regardless you gotta respect the Tszyu the man went strait to the best of they don’t back down and he got people that love him with him

That guy was able to take Tims best punches while throwing volume, movinf his head, legs using the range. I think stylistically it was just a bad match up for tim. That guy beats tim 10/10 times. He was technically superior in every way. He might not punch as hard as tim but close to tims power added with high volume is enough to get the job done.
@billwhite9703Ай бұрын
You're right on most points, but Murtazaliev is far stronger than Tim.
@bigred8438Ай бұрын
I have never seen Tim look so outclassed, almost as though he was fighting in the wrong weight division. That Chechen (?) is a very hard hitter, and I couldn't believe the referee let Tim go back into fight after being knocked down twice in the same round and once in each of the previous rounds. Tim knew he was toast after the first knock down, you could see how surprised he was.

I knew Tszyu was going to take an L but not like this... The reason why I knew he'd struggle and lose was because of the size and length of Bakhram. I wonder why they put Tim in with a guy this skilled and lengthy for his comeback fight?

He took BM lightly and was cocky, leading up and from the opening bell. BM is an undefeated, explosive, tough, heavy handed, Russian fighter. That alone should of given him more respect. Instead of TT talking on BM and the future plans for Canello, Crawford, Charlo before the fight. He should of focused on this one. His team are responsible for that. And he shouldn't be in front of the camera in that condition.
