i guess that is the difference between regulated and unregulated fishing grounds. you don't usually get those bites in Malaysia's urban fishing sites

Zachy_Senpai the 2 main rods that come to mind are the kuying teton 3-8lbs and the storm adventure 2-6lbs

Went to Bedok just now, only one hook up but my hook opened... So upset... I am from Sabah and come down regularly to Singapore for work and courses.. Still haven't landed a PB or Tammy yet...😂

Do I look normal to you?? Jk jk haha, its uv sleeves btw, Im always wearing a drifit polo T cos thats what I wear to work. I just put on sleeves when I fish. I know plenty of ppl who wear sleeves dude, almost everyone I fish with regularly wear sleeves. Its to avoid wierd tanlines on the arms.

+Your Father . C'mon dad you need to keep up with what the modern world of fishing has to offer. Even if you live on a remote island cut off from the outside world, the web means you can keep up with the latest in tackle which includes clothing. I've never had the good fortune to visit Singapore or that part of the world. But i'm here to tell you your sadly wrong about our friend looking the odd man out for wearing sleeves. The fact is sleeves are very popular in Asian countries and they are spreading around the world. Some countries are fortunate to have a lot of sunny weather, but with the rise of skin cancer you have to be savvy about UV, their are other plusses as our friend pointed out in a reply. Age is no excuse for ignorance because this old soul boy is 60 but i keep up with whats happening. Right now the Asian anglers are pushing the boundaries of UL fishing and we can learn a lot from them. I already wear the face tubes so i no longer get my neck or nose burnt on hot sunny days. And i also bought the sleeves ready for the sun. They cost very little money but it's a great idea that makes a big difference to your comfort and possible health. So even in the UK you'll see everybody from sea anglers to inner city street fishermen wearing them. Like all modern outdoor wear they wick away sweat and dry super quick same as the face tubes.
