That's how the Americas slave trade ended. It wasn't a moral reason it was a profit reason. The Caribbean is the best example of this. Once the center for sugarcane and sugar population, but when the sugar beet was found and it could be grown in the European climate the entirety of the Caribbean slave trade entered into decline.

I'll be honest with ya, I was expecting something else. I mean, Darth Vader as Anakin was once a slave and had dealt with these guys before - strongly disliking the slaving business. As a Jedi Anakin had already some trouble keeping himself relatively controlled. But as Darth Vader...well, he would have wreaked havoc. I guess Darth Sidious was aware of this, and (smartly) did not get Vader involved in any of the Zygerrian dealings.

There was actually an exchange between them regarding this topic in one of the comics. Palpatine mentions the slave empire and senses a strong force of anger from Vader. He apologized, “I forgot that Anakin Skywalker was once a slave,” explained that this was a necessary evil. Enemies of the empire were normally executed, but this way they got to live and serve the empire’s interests. He called it mercy. Vader didn’t believe it but had no choice but to follow his masters orders.

I would let Darth Vader take full control of BUTCHERING the Zygerrian Slave Empire as long as he freed all of their slaves. Once Zygerria was ready to be attacked directly I would personally track down the King with an entire brigade of soldiers that were once slaves and leave him to their mercy, or more accurately, lack there of. After that we take the planet, free the slaves, and put the millions of new loyal Imperials to good use. My Galactic Empire would have no need for slaves. Building the Death Star alone would make millions of jobs and people getting paid work far better than slaves. The jobs made getting all the parts of the Death Star could bring Clone War ravaged planets out of ruin. This Slave Empire fought alongside the CIS and ravaged many planets. I'm not letting that go. They sided with traitors to the Republic, my Empire has to clean up the mess these barbarians made, and if plundering their riches was it a good enough incentive to take them down THEY ATTACKED MY BUSINESS PARTNERS AND I NEED THOSE GUYS TO RUN THIS FUCKING EMPIRE! I can't bring peace, freedom, justice, and security to my empire on just taxes alone! The Outer Rim is extremely hard to get a good foothold in. . . And freeing slaves is always good PR.

I think an interesting topic to cover for several videos would be to cover the Republic Commandos, those Mandalorians who worked for the Republic during the Clone Wars like Kal Skirata, how clones and Jedi thought about the Clone Wars and if those thoughts changed as time went on, and the difference between the Clone Wars show and how the Clone Wars was detailed before 2008. I've been catching up on reading the Republic Commando novels and they give a critical eye on the war from the soldiers' perspectives that is most illuminating and one that is not often seen from most works whether that is the movies, TV series, books, comics, or games. I know that you had touched upon these subjects in earlier videos but I think that a more in-depth look would help educate fans who didn't know these things and look into the book series.

I have an Idea (really my own fan fiction) where on a small border on the outer Rim in the time of the Old Republic there was a huge little known Empire known only as the Silent Empire(due to very little being known about its people planets star systems or just really everything as they are an entire mystery) while it's real name is the Mirrocracian Empire having bordered the Republic for thousands of years suddenly makes a diplomatic statement inviting Three Jedi Knights to attend the coronation of their new emperor but soon get dragged into lots of assassination and politics as war breaks out between the Empire and the Zygerrians it is not finished please can somebody recommend what to do?

The planet of Siberia fell into irrelevancy in legends at least until the time of Darth Crete and the one Sith and in Canaan it fell into a relevancy once the empire fell and for the years that came after which were dominated by the new republic the Guerrial was largely irrelevant until the first order which the planet of Siberia was basically caught in the war between the first order and the new republic and even the resistance which was pretty bad in my opinion because the prosperity that they had throughout the era of the empire was no longer there

Guess I wasn't far off on Zygerria's fate in my Sith!Ahsoka fanfics in both versions of the Multiverse: Galaxy-1 and Galaxy-38, except… the entire planet was massacred and the Zygerrians were brought to extinction by Darth Véurr (either with The 501st [Galaxy-1] or The 332nd [Galaxy-38]). Not really sorry.

I think around the time Padme died and he officially became Vader, he just stopped caring about anyone or anything else. After all, Vader as we know him would work people to death as if they were slaves, and kill people just for screwing up or not meeting quotas. By the time he was in the suit, he was basically a slave with nothing left to lose - except for the fact that he actually believed in the Empire. So he expected nothing less from anyone else. If an Imperial officer had to give up his family, his arms and legs, and get burned alive to complete a task, then that's what Vader expected that officer to do. And if the officer could survive all of that, then Vader likely would've just rebuild them and give them another job to do. After all, it happened to Vader himself countless times.
